Excellent for anyone looking for a Drobo replacement power supply as they are not made by Drobo anymore since going out of business.

My Drobo power supply gave up the ghost and this, although expensive is an excellent substitute.

Drobo 5D - Life Saver
My Drobo 5D died. The power block had a blinking green light, going on/off. Found a youtube video of an electronics expert cutting into his Drobo cable and proving that the unit wasn't at fault, the power block was. So took a punt and bought this one to see if it worked. It did, first time. My Drobo is alive again. As it has 22 years of work on it, that's a relief.I have all that data well backed up in other places, however not all in one place. So it would have taken me ages to copy it all again to my new Synology DS1520+ the new power block has given me a bit more time to sort that out.
