Great tool for setting rivets and smoothing over the cut end.

Strong metal, tough device. Works better than described. Use a plastic or leather hammer and strong snips before beveling.

Affordable and works as purposed. It sets burrs for sure.

Like the size/heft (it’s substantial). Works perfectly on my rivets - setting the burr and rounding off after the excess is nipped off..

I had higher hopes for this. I use a regular Tandy version for copper and brass rivets and was hoping this would allow for better cleaner finished rivets. The holes in the side do not really permit a straight down hammer to set the rings on the rivets. The dimples however do a much better job of finalizing the rivets. I now use both tools.

Very nice, heavy duty and shinny tool, good value for the price. but the setter is less than 1/2 in thick, if you use rivet longer than 1/2 of an inch, you have to improvise to make it work or rivet will be bent and stuck, I get a 1/2 in bolt 5 inches long ,grade 5 , cut and discard the thread part; drill an 1 in depth into the cut end with a good 5/32 drill bit ( better with a drill press ) and that will be your best rivet setter bar none. Since I already have the setter for the dome part , but you can do the same with a dull and slightly larger drill bit. I want to upload images of how I did it, but Amazon gave me no option to.

Built like a tank. The only drawback is that to set a rivet the tool has to be flat. A couple of times I didn’t have the space to lay the tool flat, but fortunately I had my old vertical setter.

Works well. Haven't broke it yet.
