7 Ruby Road Cat Wall Scratcher, Indoor Sisal Scratch Pad Board

I’ve had this for a while now, and overall I think it’s a nice alternative to cardboard scratchers. I wanted something that had mainly natural components (sisal and wood) and that looked good in my living area. This fit the bill and both of my cats use it regularly. Few things to note: - Can be mounted, but I’m lazy so I left it on the floor and my cats still used it (pretty funny watching them use it on the ground, kind of looks like a surfboard lol) - The sisal has started to come up on one side and I don’t think there’s a way to repair or replace it which is a shame - This doesn’t shed at all which is awesome! Cardboard scratchers I’ve bought in the past drive me nuts because cardboard gets everywhere - it’s not heavy at all so when your cat uses it on the ground it thumps around unless you find a way to anchor it to the ground

We’ve loved this product. It’s two years old and has been through two cats. Finally replacing it. You can see it’s been well-used. It’s a really simple and sleek design- not an eye sore like most cat scratchers. Both kitty and human approved!

I bought this scratcher for Quinn, my Tuxedo cat, because it is attractive and can be hung on the wall so he can get a good stretch while using it. I was excited to unwrap it and it did not disappoint. From the moment I hung it and showed it to Quinn he knew exactly what to do and he enjoys it every day! I enjoy it too because it doesn’t have to be hidden out of sight! Thank you for making a cat scratcher that is both practical and pretty to look at!

I have to admit - I bought it for the looks. Sleek design was such a great alternative for the traditional scratching fixtures. Our cat reaches to the upper part of it now (we mounted it on the wall when he was a kitten a year ago) and he practically destroyed the top part of sisal pad. Fair enough, it lasted a year. I would like to share a hack - since the bottom part of the scratcher was almost as new, I removed it from the wall, unscrew the mounting brackets from the board and turned them the other way, then mounted it back on the wall. Now the messed up part is on the bottom and the cat can party with the almost new sisal on the top. If it holds up another year, I would call it a money well spent.

Cat uses every day. Loves it. I just laid it on the carpet and he went for it. But have a hot glue it already. The twine / rope did start to come away from the wood base, so I got glued the perimeter. Seems to be holding fine. If it was about $20 to $25, I’d give it a better rating. For $40, it should hold to the wood pad much longer.

This is no ordinary cat scratcher! It's sleek, well made, and takes up minimal space (which makes a big difference in our smaller home)! Our cat has been a complete terror lately, moving on from shredding our couch to literally tearing the paint off our walls. This seemed like the perfect fix, as it attaches to the wall. I rubbed some cat nip on it and set it down flat to get our cat used to it and then hung it on the wall a few hours later. So far so good, he seemed to take to it really quickly! In the instruction pamphlet, there is information on being entered into a drawing for a reimbursement (who doesn't love free stuff), but I was having a little trouble with it. I went on Facebook and sent a message to the company and received a reply within minutes. They were super nice and added me in manually. I always feel extremely guilty buying from Amazon because I like to support local businesses, but Amazon is just so convenient, I usually give in... welp Amazon proved me wrong today. This company just released this product, and I feel like my purchase really mattered. Quality, style, and excellent customer service! I would 100% buy this product again and anything else they make!

Very happy with the look of this product. So many things on Amazon now are of such poor quality. This product is not one of them. It’s beautiful and appears to be very durable. The way you hang it was a little cumbersome. The screws didn’t quite slide into the slots very well. Honestly I just screwed it directly into the wood wall I have and you don’t even notice the screws on the face of it. I’m not sure that would work on drywall unless you found a stud. Anyway, I’m sure when I pick up some catnip tomorrow and rub it on there, my cat will take to it. The phot shows a close up of how I screwed it into the wall. The screw is barely noticeable. 5 stars and thank you for a great alternative to gaudy cat scratching posts!

Cat loved the first one we bought so much that we got a second for another room. Purchased Nov. 2020 and June 2021 and they’re still going strong. Did not wall Mount so we can move them around as the cat chooses new spots to try scratching. This works well as she will favor one area and then switch it up on us. She is petite and stands on the pad to weight it down while scratching. Pros: Attractive Natural materials Sturdy! Easy to use Cat loves it Durable Compact for small spaces Portable if not wall mounted Cons: Sisal not replaceable Cost We also have a toy from this company and it’s the only toy she has consistently enjoyed playing with since kitten hood (she’s now two). I came online to buy another scratcher for a third room but am considering trying the replaceable-mat version now that it’s an option. Will need to cogitate on that and take some measurements.

This is such a beautiful and good quality product. Goodbye ugly scratchers. I am now ordering another one for our bedroom.

The cord used in this scratcher is too hard and woven too tightly. My cat tried using it several times and couldn't hook up his claws in it. He reverted to using his old much softer scratcher.

So hard to find cat accessories that are easy on the eyes but these folks have it!
