This product was just what I needed to hide an extension cord from one side of the room to the other for a lamp. It was a good colour match and easy to stick down. I think it keeps the room tidy.

It did what I wanted

Very tidy and almost invisible on the living room floor. Easy to stick and thread cables through

Didn't use the adhesive strips as they were being fitted to waxed boards. I installed with two very small screws in each one. The trunking itself is effective and easy to work with. Chose the darker oak finish and it stained up ok but not an exact match - but good enough. The price per metre was pretty expensive and it soon mounts up; however this is as nothing to the cost for the corner parts - you will look in the bag and weep! but they are essential to most jobs I guess. One thing to note is the corner parts are not the same finish; they are hearing-aid beige. I need to paint these with a small paintbrush at some point. Its has all solved a problem however in a relatively neat way .

Great trunking

I wanted this for my kitchen countertop to cover the lead for the TV because there isn't a plug socket close to where it is situated and we have to have the lead running along the wall and countertop. It always gets crumbs underneath it and it looks untidy. This looks better but it still isn't perfect, it would be better if there was a plug socket at the other end of the countertop but without a complete refit this isn't practical at the moment.The trunking is quite sturdy and looks well made but like others have said, I don't think a 1 meter length is much good to most people for most jobs. It would work out quite expensive to put this all round a room, or even along one wall, so I do think that it might be better to come in packs of more. It isn't really long enough for where I want it but the short-fall is hidden behind kitchen equipment so isn't too much of a problem at the moment for me; we'll have to see how we get on with it long term. It's not driving me mad now but it might do in future, it's certainly better than the wire just lose along there. I would also like to see something that would cover the wire up to the plug as that probably will drive me mad before too long, lol ;-). The wire was easy enough to pop in and should be easy to get it out again too if needed.All in all it's good at what it does but it could do with being longer.
