You don't necessarily need new one. See review.
If you are having issues with paper getting stuck during duplex (dual-sided) printing, check:A) The printer needs to heat up with printing about 75 pages one-sided until it is hot enough to do duplex. (I imagine this has to do with heat.) I don’t know if this is with all of this model printer, but if you have this issue, a new fuser does not solve this. So, you need to print about 75 pages one-sided, then you can do duplex smoothly.B) Also, if you are getting parts of an image ‘stuck’ onto the second side, (a light image from the first side – from toner that gets stuck on the fuser roller), I have found this when printing large photos on both sides of a sheet (not when printing mostly text with just several small images). The solution is to print photos one-sided only. Otherwise is great printer (with generic toners of course; OEM make no sense from a price standpoint, although they are more precise photo quality color – I remember from the original OEM toners that came with it. (Which obviously don’t cost $300 each - for a total of $1200, as the original printer was only several hundred $!.)
