Apple iPod Touch 5 Case, rooCASE Ultra Slim Fit Thin Hard Shell Case iPod Touch 6th/5th Generation Black

I ordered this case for my son for his 5th generation iPod touch. He wanted something similar to the Elago S4 slim case that I have for my iPhone 4S and this case fits the bill. The case is very slim, fits well and the rubberized feel makes it feel more secure in the hand. It may not provide enough protection for some, but in my opinion, it sufficiently protects the ipod without adding too much bulk. A nice, well designed case.

Love these cases. Each one usually lasts me between a few months and a year; depending on the drops they are subjected to. I carry my ipod all day, every day and I'm not delicate with it. It's with me working on my truck, riding my motorcycle, at work. I've crushed it in my back pocket on concrete and done the awkward 'attempt to catch it and end up spiking it like a volleyball at the ground'.My preference for this case may sound weird given that I could go buy a massive case that would last for the lifetime of the device. The problem is that I hate those cases. They're bulky and the rubber corners hang up in my pockets. These are slim and slide in and out of my pocket smoothly. The matte finish doesn't show dirt or smudges. Most importantly though, they still protect the ipod. This combined with a glass screen protector and I've had years of use without any damage.

Fits the 5th generation iPod Touch perfectly. The "soft" feel of this case helps keeping the iPod from slipping from your fingers, however, like any matte finish, it can fall from your fingers if you tip it too far or don't grasp it securely.After 16 months of use, the thin strip of case between the volume buttons and the surface of the iPod split and eventually broke off. When pushing the volume-up and volume-down buttons, that strip always flexed a bit, so failure of that part of the case was not a surprise. Using 400-grit sandpaper (or an emery board), the remaining sharp ends can be rounded.Even with that minor issue, I would definitely buy this case again if needed. So far, it is holding up very well, and I don't expect to have to re-purchase it.

The case is thin, and slim, not much larger than my iTouch. Fits in my pocket easily, and the case protects the back from scratches. The case fits snugly, and provides a better grip than the metal iTouch. Great product.

This case is pretty nice. The case fit but it doesn't cover on the top and the bottom, so there is still a little bit dangerous if you drop the iPod. The volume button area is not comfortable, and this case can't prevent fingerprint. The material is strong, firm while you still have feeling soft. Above all, this case is good design and I don't think it has opponent around its price.

There is only a few improvements I would make on the case. There should be more protection of the front screen and I wish it would pick up less oil from my skin. I find I am constantly cleaning it.It has recently broken where it is surrounding the camera making me disappointed. I would have liked it to be made out of a better material because it is not very durable. There are also scratches on my iPod where the red aluminum back and the front glass meet. I am not thrilled about that. I would recommend buying a different case even if it is more expensive. I will not buy another rooCASE product for my iPod since I want it to last longer.

The case did not fit the phone correctly.It kept switching the phone to Silent mode because the case kept hitting the switch on the side.

The case is perfect! It's slim enough to keep the iPod 5's profile and it allows for grip and room for the strap. Most cases contort the strap, but this case allows it to lay flat with movement.
