The Harvest Fiesta Veggie Jar is the perfect way to ferment all of your favorite foods in a convenient fridge sized batch! Instead of risking leaching plastic, cheap imitations or even exploding jars, put the Harvest Fiesta Veggie Jar to work! Lacto-fermenting has never been easier. The good bacteria thrive in the jar and the bad ones can't make it inside. Gases escape through the included airlock, speeding up the process and helping you to have delicious tangy veggies in no time! Once your project is ready, swap the airlock lid for the canning lid and store it in the fridge. If you like, you can even process it in a water bath canner and store it all winter! Simply remove the jar ring, and replace the tin lid with the included stainless steel plate. It's food safe, and there's already a ⅝" hole bored in the center for inserting your glass airlock and silicone FDA approved stopper. Fill with your favorite chopped or shredded veggies, sea salt and water. Then put the lid on and fill the airlock with salt water and allow the veggies to transform.
