Q: How thick is the loop? Meaning what size hole do I need to have for it to go through?

The actual metal is pretty small guage. a 1/8" hole would probably be big enough for the key ring or the clasp.

Dear, these are stainless steel, they are silver like color. Sorry, there aren't white key chain.

Q: Has anyone used these for a time now? What’s your opinion of them? Pretty durable ?

Had good luck with mine, not heavy enough for a large number of keys, for a average ring it's fone
