I use this for my anchor in pontoon boat and it works great. Once in place anchor and boat do not move!Great concept and it works. For those who aren’t the best at tying nots it’s perfect.

The only thing that would make this easier is if my boat came with a centered cleat. Since it doesn’t, this is literally the best thing there is. Amazingly sturdy, I feel like I could anchor a yacht with this thing. I use it on a 2022 Yamaha SX195. Simply leave it attached to the line since I generally anchor in the same place every time. When it’s time to use it I just attach this to the bow eye and toss the anchor overboard. The rest of the line stays in the storage locker and things are good to go! Never has it slipped or lost the rope. Need more line after setting anchor? Press the button. Need less? Pull the line. Easy as it comes.

The stainless is beautiful and this clip is strong. Works flawlessly with a 3/8" anchor rope. I've got about 34 feet of anchor line that I use in a small boat on local lakes where that is the maximum depth, and this allows me to set my anchor depth at whatever I want and clip it off to the bow eye very easily. Great product!

A bit expensive, but really great. You'll find plenty of uses for this, both on the boat and even just around the house.When I'm hanging out at the beach, I typically clip this to the cleat at the stern of my boat, and connect it to my stern anchor. As the tide changes, it's takes just a second to either add more rope or remove the slack from the line, as opposed to having to untie and retie the whole line.I do wish it was just a hair larger. It will not clip over a 1" bow rail, which is what I have on my boat, meaning I can't use it to hold fenders over the rail.
