I bought this while visiting out of town for the holidays. Since Amazon ships in 2 days, u was able to have a going for my potatoes at Christmas. I just recently tried brown butter and fell in love with the rich nutty flavor. However I bought a different brand the first time. That brand was gritty, but I really didn't mind, to o me it was texture. However, I decide while visiting family that i wanted something so I didn't feel so plain. I was looking specifically for something small and cheaper since I was traveling - that is the only reason I bought this brand, it offered the smallest size.BUT OMG!!! I am the lucky duck!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!!!! I have never tasted such luxury!! SMOOTH AS SILK!! The flavor and richness cannot be compared to anything else!!I will order this brand from now on!

Delicious! I very frequently use brown butter ghee, but this takes it up a notch. It's a deeply flavorful brown butter with little crunches of salt. The jars are small, but it won't take much to make a difference. I'll use it as a finishing touch, and I'll enjoy it immensely. It will be a staple in my pantry, and I recommend you make it one, too!*Revised 5.17.19*I have been ordering this for quite some time, and I have absolutely loved it. But they have apparently changed the formula now. It no longer has salt, and it's more whipped in texture now. It's still good, but it's nearly as good as it used to be. It's also not as browned as it was before. The wonderful qualities that made this unique and so tasty are gone. :( And this used to be packed in glass jars. My last shipment was packed in plastic jars. Please bring back the original formula as an option!If this will be the new norm for the product, I don't think I'll purchase this again. I already keep my favorite brand of brown butter ghee on hand, and it's better than what I just received of this product.Total bummer. This was a favorite of mine. Now it's just a run of the mill brown butter product.

I purchased this brand over my usual (Tin Star) brown butter ghee because it supposedly tastes better.Well, I’m usually more sensitive than most people but it tastes the same as Tin Star, which is much less expensive too.But there’s a big problem with Black & Bolyard—the Black is literally true! I bought this because my son, who is a pastry chef in a Michelin Star restaurant is coming to visit and we were gonna make a brown butter cake.But who eats a butter cake full of BLACK SPECKS?!?! ARGH. I mean really! I only wanted to not have to nurse two pounds of butter on the stove for an hour. If I was willing to have brown butter full of black silt I could have BURNT it myself in 20 minutes. And yes, the specks DO taste burnt to me. What a waste.If you walked into a store and bought grass fed butter and took it out for a white or yellow cake and it was full of black specks, how would you react? Feel kind of ripped off? It’s open now. The store may take it back, but I’m not sure Amazon will because the seal is broken now. Tsk tsk.

This is my second order of brown butter. This is delicious on steaks, veggies and pretty much anything we have slathered it on. I am on a low carb eating plan and this brown butter label shows zero carbs, contains Vitamins A, E & K along with omega fatty acids, high in CLA & Beta-carotene and anti-inflammatory. I have purchased two of the 2 packs so I could share with friends and now they are hooked. I will definitely be keeping a jar on hand at all times.

This butter is absolutely delicious!!! I have to confess that I was a little bit annoyed at my husband for ordering yet another exotic edible that just sits in the pantry forever. I'm very happy to say that sometimes eating your words is a very pleasurable experience. :-)I went on their website to check their recipes which are fine if you're looking for extra work. I would much rather just add a tiny dollop of this butter to almost anything and enjoy the flavor. Think of it as ghee with benefits.

I'm not quite sure how I ran across this product, but boy am I sure glad I did! The depth of flavor that is added to dishes is second to none. My personal favorite is the Original - when you open the jar - the smell is literally intoxicating. Thus far, I've used the Original in a Creamy Chicken and Portabello mushroom dish along with bone broth and all I can say is OMG. I used the Bay yesterday in a Tuscan seasoned pork tenderloin medallion dish and I've used the Aleppo (which in my opinion is quite mild) in a vegetable gratin. I couldn't be happier and although I just received my order less than two weeks ago, I'm going to order more right now - just so I don't run out EVER !!!!

Black & Bolyard Brown Butter is Fabulous, Tasty and for any level chef is Perfect to put on so many foods...Veggies & popcorn are our Favorites. Packaging came with a lovely informative card and was stamped with their logo! We will be buying again and again!

I love this product, well the original in a glass jar of this product. I'm pretty sure that this last order will be my last. Since changing from the glass jars which held in the pepper flavor really well! The plastic replacement which helps the containers not break when The amazon driver just throws a half filled package at you door instead of knocking, seem to leach plastic flavor or suck out the chili pepper flavor. The same seems to apply to the bay leaf and brown butter as well. Bring back the glass, recycle the plastics, save the people & the planet!
