I was skeptical about ordering this, but I am glad I did! It's thick enough to keep you warm, but not so much that it's irritating or uncomfortable.The material itself, ohmuhgud, it's so soft and comfy. Plus, like another reviewer said, you can reverse it and have the mesh on the backside of you want more warmth/protection.All in all, 10/10. Perfectly comfortable, and perfectly warm. I have been using it in Illinois, and it gets a bit nippy and windy.

My husband works inside a freezer throughout his shift. He says they work great & keep his neck, face, mouth & nose warm and are very comfortable. He says easy to breathe through them too. He says he would purchase them again. His co-workers want them too, so he told them the brand so they can order them from Amazon too.

Well. I was skeptical. Now I wish I had purchased the 2 pack. Warm, dense, comfortable without being too tight. I'm 6'5 and 240lb and it's very comfortable. Not sure how the fit would be for a smaller person, but works well for a guy my size. It does have 2 layers, 1 dense cloth and 1 a little thicker than spandex for the outside front.I over thought it I suppose. Too many people pushing thin, stretchy material that seems to have the resistance ability of a doilie. This was a better purchase than others for me this year. Falls into the 86% category easily , for 2 layer gaiter droplet reduction. If they made a 3 layer I suspect I'd by several

Gaiter is a double layered soft thin fleece material with mesh near the mouth area, it is long enough to fold over itself for those extra cold days but still breathable through the mesh even when folded. Works best on cold days when folded 3/4 of the way down itself to double up around the mouth, nose and ears and the tail end tucked under the neck of the shirt near the collar bone. Would definitely recommend.

Its made nice and is warm, but I got this specifically for riding my motorcycle and for the "windproof" aspect. Well, the black front is NOT windproof at all. If you hold it up, you can see light through it...so, for just wearing walking around or skiing or something low speed, its probably fine. But, for blocking wind on your neck on a motorcycle....no bueno!

This neck warmer is fantastic. The mesh part around the nose and mouth is ingenious. It makes it easier to breath through. I love the fabric material too. Currently, I'm using this when I'm snow shoveling the driveway in the morning. Definitely recommend this product.Pros: comfortable, long, soft fabric, breathableCons: None yet

Normally I hang up the cleats by mid-October in Chicago, but we've been fortunate with good weather. When temps hit the 40s I didn't have a way to keep my neck and chest warm until I found this. I wore it for the first time yesterday, and although it took a little time to get used to, I was warm the whole ride (20 miles in 42 degree temp with winds off the lake). I'd say this is a must-have product if you ride in chilly temps.

Unlike most neck warmers, these are very long. Make it easy to pu up high and not expose your neck. In Winnipeg winters that's a key feature. They are very soft, warm and actually stylish (in my opinion.). I highly recommend them.

Nice warmer,lightweight and fairly effective against the cold,anything colder than -15%C requires another layer.Good value

I don't have much experience with gaiters. This one feels a bit like velvet, a bit stiff, and not very comfortable around the neck. The sewing looks like good quality, and it does what it's supposed to do. Deducting one star for having a very prominent logo tag sewn in at the right cheek. Tag is not in any of the product photos.

Sqishes my nose when I wear it and it is not too comfortable. If you wear it just on your neck it's ok but to get the full benefit of covering your ears you will need to put it over your nose which causes discomfort. Haven't been able to wear it on windy days as I don't wear it at all due to the discomfort so can't say if it is wind proof or not. Ps. I have an average sized nose so I was surprised that this was an issue.
