MXR M303 Clone Looper Pedal Bundle with 3 MXR Patch Cables

I tried another looper pedal that was a bit cheaper with great reviews but it was too frustrating for me to try and send the cryptic pulse train sequences to it with only 1 button (standing on one leg) for all the operations. I paid a bit more for this MXR Looper because it's made by MXR and more importantly has 2 buttons -which i can handle. If i want it to stop, i push stop and it stops. I dropped a star solely because it comes with generic instructions for guitar pedals that weren't much if any help figuring the pedal out. I didnt immediately find anything useful on their website either and the review videos i found didnt show what the foot was doing on the pedal. Fortunately, this pedal is quite easy to figure out with the only "complicated" bit being that to end your recording you push the record button twice relatively quickly but doable. If you push it once whike recording it starts an overdub. Timing the record button presses took a few minutes to master but after 15 minutes i was comfortable using it and my timing was dead on. A few days in and it's second nature. The pedal is suprisingly small but that's a good thing for me and its size does not impede easy operation. The sound quality is excellent and this justifies the price, I cant tell much if any difference between my live and recorded loop once the loop volume is dialed in. The 3 patch cables it comes with are MXR brand, not crappy knockoffs. I have several MXR pedals and like my others this pedal doesnt dissapoint, i needed a simple looper for practice and on the fly loops and this fits the bill.

This MXR Looper Pedal is easy to use, intuitive to operate and will take several layered loops with no problems. I've owned the Jamman and the Ditto loop pedals and I've found them both to be much more difficult to operate. This pedal fit immediately into my pedal board and has performed seamlessly. The one thing I would like to change is that you can't erase just the last loop you made, if you hit the erase button it erases all your work so you better have your groove together before you hit record. Also the machine comes with no instruction manual so you need to figure it out on your own, which isn't too hard.It has two buttons, one for Record/erase and the other for play/pause. You can also adjust the volume so you can record at a lower level and increase it as you add other instruments. Really fun and easy to use.

This pedal is easy and fun to use. It is extremely versatile. The expression pedal and tap pedal options give it even more value. I've used it for vocals, drums, keyboard and guitar to great effect. It is an excellent pedal at a great price.

Pedal was advertised with 3 mxr pancake patch cables and came with 2 generic plastic cables. Tried to talk to the seller but no reply. Inaccurate seller description.

Easy to use and does the job nicely. The instructions are hopeless, luckily real men don't need instructions.
