Kids love the Zoomer toys!
My daughter has been wanting one of these, and I'm so excited it was listed on Amazon for a great price compared to local stores. Her brother has the Zoomer Dinosaur so we are familiar with these products. This is perfect for her, she is 5 years old and loves anything that moves or sings. She is absolutely in love with this puppy!

The video shows it doing all sorts of fun things. When we turned it on all it ...
Read mixed reviews on this robot puppy, but decided to get it anyway. Mistake. Puppy's package had clearly been opened and then re-taped shut again. Probably some other sucker had already returned the thing. The video shows it doing all sorts of fun things. When we turned it on all it does is yip... and yip... and yip... repeatedly, until you turn it off or throw it through the wall, whichever comes first. Obviously defective. Unfortunately, I had read other similar reviews and chose not to believe them. Either this company makes extraordinarily poor quality items, or someone thinks it's okay to purchase defective items on the cheap and resell them through Amazon. Bummer, because I've normally had great success with sellers through Amazon. Not this time. This level of quality rivals the stuff I've bought at the drive-in movie flea market. Actually, the flea market stuff usually works! Makes me think twice about purchasing through Amazon fulfillment. This product deserves zero stars, but since it lists one star as "I hate it" I guess that's pretty accurate.

This toy is quite possibly the most annoying and frustrating toy out there
This toy is quite possibly the most annoying and frustrating toys out there. I think my daughter may be a bit too young for it but even I have trouble getting it to do tricks. If the dog is on and anything is placed in front of the sensor or if the dog is placed face down, the music or talking just goes on and on until you manually turn it off.. This might be one of those toys that just disappears.....

Cheaper, less interactive version of a robot dog
This was bought as a gift for a family member. It was something that was on their Christmas list so they were very excited to get it. The expectations though were a little higher than the performance of the toy. As others have said, this doesn't zoom anywhere, or really move at all unless you make it. There's balls on the feet to roll it around and some sensors on the front for the interactive part. This does respond to the mic and other touches sometimes but you can tell it was more made to be a very much cheaper version of the larger interactive puppies. This isn't a toy that will occupy a kid over 5-6 for very long and they will be asking how to make it do more since the package seems to make a lot of promises that aren't quite there. If you can get these on sale and it's something your kid truely wants then go for it, but I wouldn't spend over $25 on one of these, not worth it at all

Her favorite thing to do is to make her sing
My daughter is 4 and loves her puppy. Her favorite thing to do is to make her sing. For parents: No volume control, however there is a power button.

Fun and cute
Fun toy, I wish it could do a little more though (like move on it's own - but I guess you need the more expensive and bigger version then). It's nice to have 2 so they can interact a little.
