This is just peice of waste which is not of any use. It just lower the gain and thats it. Which we can do with our instrument alone. Dont waste your money , I repeat.

Extremely well constructed, and a great price. It works every bit as well as the green one at less than half the price, and I kind of like the purple anyway.

Edito: al principio bien pero después de varios conciertos, me saca muy poca señal, he probado de todo, incluso con DIs más baratas y el problema es la Samson. He solicitado un reemplazo. Opinión original: Desde que descubrí este cacharro, no he vuelto a llevarme el Ampli de bajo de 500w a ningún concierto, me conecto por linea con un bajo Activo y da igual la tirada de cable XLR, no se pierde nada de tono aunque sí se pierde potencia, y luego conecto la misma caja la conecto al monitor frontal... el resultado es que tu señal va directo hacia las PA de la mesa de mezclas y directo a tu monitor de suelo. Brutal para no depender de amplis microfonados que cogen ruido ambiente (a parte el peso y espacio que te ahorras). Super cómodo y funcional. Lo único es que no tiene simulador de gabinete, pero para un bajo diría que no es necesario (con una guitarra suena a motosierra si no tiene simulador). Lo tengo conectado al final de una cadena de tres pedales y es una maravilla.

This is a fantastic little piece of gear to have. I use this in between my guitar and audio interface when recording and the difference is night and day. An absolutely gorgeous clean signal comes out. Someone made a comment about how this is probably not good in the studio but I completely disagree. This little guy is the unsung hero of the studio. Tech specs are great and all, but at the end of the day it’s about how a track SOUNDS. And this baby sounds terrific. Great price too!

If you're looking for a simple, passive DI solution for not a lot of money, this is your solution. This box is at the end of my signal chain on an acoustic guitar pedal board, and it changes/colors absolutely nothing in my guitar tone. It simply provides an easy way to get a balanced XLR out to the sound system. This one does what it says, and the price is right. No need to pay bunches more!
