I love black sesame, and I like moon cakes, but I will not buy this again. It's almost $10 for one cake. In hindsight, I could have spent $20 and got three more cakes of the same size in a metal tin, had I bought a different brand. In any case, the cake was okay. The filling was mildly nutty from the black sesame and walnuts, and it was quite sweet. Most moon cakes are extremely sweet, making them all the better to drink a bitter tea with as you eat your piece. The outside shell was not stale, though it left much to be desired. In other words, the dough was flavorless and perhaps a little too oily, even by moon cake standards. It was also faintly squished due to the fact that the flimsy box was not well packed, which leads me to my biggest gripe.Again, this is one cake that comes in a tiny cardboard box. If it is not packed well, your cake might arrive crushed. Thankfully, my moon cake survived shipping mostly unscathed, but the box clearly didn't. I'm so glad I got this as a festive treat for myself and my kids, and that I wasn't giving this as a gift to a relative or friend. :-/

if you are looking for authentic taste mooncakes, stay away from this product then. Not only it doesn't taste like normal moon cake at all it's adding many artificial sugar糖精 and preservatives to the cakes, so stay away and i wish i can return them though i have opened 2 ofr them

My kids are in Chinese Immersion and just learned about the Mid Autumn Festival, so we wanted to try these. I thought they were great! Green tea especially. They're kind of like a fig Newton, but much prettier. The kids were so-so about the taste of the filling, but liked the pastry.

Love it and its all gone. A bit pricey though!

There were only four moon-cakes and it was a little pricy.

The flavor was very good. The texture was a little chewy, not the same as a regular mooncake. and is not as sweet. It's a good alternative if you want a different flavor and texture.

Fast delivery. Very nice quality.

Everything arrived in perfect order.
