Must have tool
If your installing Trex or any other composite decking and using hidden fasteners, this is necessary. It was quick and easy, no marring on the deck finished surface.

Deck screw driver for Captor xd
This tool works best on screw drivers (powered) to sink Captor CD screws in composite decking. Works quite well on Tres decking...on the other hand, there is no depth control and as such sinks screws almost through lesser brand decking. If you miss the deck joist these will not back out without pushing up from beneath. Trust me I know!How do you miss a deck joist you might add? First installing Trex Rainaway system where all joists are covered with the troughs and then the buttal taping system.I would have given it 5 stars if it had an adjustable depth, made a shim out of a washer(which kept coming unglued using hot melt glue) to use on my Dekorator decking.

Use this tool!!!
Perfect depth.Was able to do 520sqft on a single bit.Worked wonderfully coupled with the plugs.

Pro Plug PVC Tool
It worked great until the trim bit wore out and I needed to replace it. I bought the Pro Plug bits that go with the tool and they will not lock into place. If the bit moves around, the screw will not go in properly. Waste of money. Just use the bit that comes with generic screws.

Hidden screws.
I use Trex hidden fasteners but they’re a few places you have to face screw. This tool lets you hide the screw heads. You’ll need the little plugs to fill the holes. Takes a little more time but the results are worth it

Wears out quick
The bits wear out pretty quick (a couple hundred screws). Then they strip out the screw. If the screw is in to the point where you can't grip it with pliers to twist it out, then you have to drill it out. I can't imagine doing a whole deck with these. The only place I used them was where the camo screws couldn't get to because of an obstruction.
