Today I put this cap through its paces. I walk trails frequently and the temperature today was below freezing and with 45 mph wind gusts, steady at 37 mph. This form-fitting cap didn't budge in the wind. The ear flaps protected my ears in the windchill, and they remained in place, never riding up. They were snug enough to keep the wind out. When the sun poked out of the clouds, the wide bill shaded my eyes. The material is thin enough to breathe, yet functionally warm. I am planning on buying another so that I have a spare.

I got this for my husband because he wanted something to cover his ears this winter. When he doesn't need his ears covered it flip up out of the way. He really likes the cap. It is soft, very warm and lightweight. I like it too and I might get me one. Nice size bill to keep the sun out of his eyes. Very well made.

I got this hat for our cold days. It’s a soft hat and fits snugly but I need that because our cold days are accompanied with north winds and you don’t want it to blow away.

Love the look, the warmth. But I deducted one star because it is a bit snug on my head. Not ridiculous or anything. I am a man with average sized head.

This hat does everything right. It’s soft, doesn’t squeeze my head but won’t fall off, it’s warm and the ear flaps are awesome. No more cold ears, even on a windy day. Excellent for outside hikes, snow shoveling, golf, pickleball. Anything really. I’m very happy with this. Gonna buy more so I can put one in the wash.

The design and quality are good. It would be better for my husband if it also came in an XXL size (his head measures 24.5 inches)... It will do for now until TrailHeads decides to offer a larger size.

Exactly what my partner wanted! I was afraid it would not fit but it’s got great stretch and still stays snug to remain on in the wind and keep his head and ears warm. Edit - report from my partner is the elastic in the back needs to be tighter. Ilafter about 30 minutes the cap starts to ride up in the back.

I have had my eye on this for a while, but held back because of the price - I hoped it might go down at some point - but it didn't. Eventually bought it this week and tried it for the first time, yesterday. really good product which fits well and is very warm. I like the fact it has a peak at the front, as well as being able to fold up the sides. The only slight downer is that it is expensive when compared to other quality caps like Sealskinz.

Me va muy bien cuando paseo las perras - tengo el cuello y orejas calientes. Cuando hace sol la visera me protege los ojos; si hace un poco mas de calor se puede subir las orejeras, y si llueve la visera ayuda a evitar que la lluvia me moje los lentes. Una buena compra.
