Decent desk, not top quality but good for price. BUT not a good customer experience
*Update* after leaving this review I was contacted by the seller who offered a partial refund of £40 (I paid £90) which was made promptly. So I've increased the score to 4 stars. The customer experience -I bought this on the 16th Dec and the order said it would be delivered by the 24th, and was later changed to 26-30 Dec. No problem, it's Christmas and I didn't need it till my daughter went onto homeschooling in Jan.But the 30th came and went and I had to contact the seller to get a tracking number as the onsite tracking didn't update past the 24th. They gave me a consignment number for XDP, I entered it and it just said 'created'. This remained like that for a week. When I asked the seller to contact XDP to find out where the item was, they said 'Oh it must be lost, will you accept a refund?'. I told them no, as the desk itself was exactly what I was looking for and within budget, so I asked them again to contact XDP. This process was repeated 2 or 3 times, with me asking them to send out a replacement item even. They refused 'in case it happens again'.Eventually I contacted XDP myself and they told me they had never received the item for postage! So basically the company had been lying to me, telling me it had been sent out and lost when in fact it was still at their depot or wherever they keep their stock. When I sent XDP's reply to the seller I got a response 'we will send your item out within one working day'. No apology, no acknowledgement of any miscommunication or anything. and the item finally turned up 3 days after I sent that reply. The item itself -I think the package must have been sitting in the depot for a while as the polystyrene was almost disintegrated, and all the pieces were coated in the stuff (in pics). But everything was there, and it's made of fairly sturdy MDF (I think) with a veneer that's a bit darker than the picture but is actually a nice wood grain effect. There were a few chips on the corners and the edging was coming off one of the side panels (see pic) but it was on the back part so no major issue. It went together well - actually quite a fun flat pack to do if you're that way inclined! The runners for the keyboard tray were not great - sticky (ew) and one of them fell apart, spilling the ball bearings everywhere. But the sliding motion still worked without the bearings so it'll do until I can buy replacement parts for it.Overall, the desk itself is fine but I definitely wouldn't recommend the seller to anyone unless you're prepared to keep on at them to get what you've paid for.

Ok ish
Oh dear, in the picture this desk looks amazing, putting it together, is a different story. To begin with the instructions are in Chinese, I'm presuming, so you've got to try and match the writing with the stickers on the pieces, that's if your lucky to have stickers on all the pieces. I've not got very good eyesight and trying to match, was a task in itself. Not all bits seemed to fit correctly, but this is not that noticeable unless you really look, one piece was partly broken, luckily it was for the draw so just glued it to make it usable. Some of the screws didn't screw in that good. Whilst your building it feels as if it's not going to be sturdy enough, but once all pieces together it is reasonably sturdy. Apart from that this desk is the perfect size to fit in a small area, which is big enough for our computer or laptop, there is an added bonus of shelves but these are not really that wide and the drawer is tiny. But I suppose you get what you pay for

it is of a good quality
its heavy and that means that is solid of witch it is,it is fairly east to put together the drawings are easy to understand, and you get the required screws etc and even a screwdriver to do the job ..on my desk some of the numbers put on the parts was missing or fell of and transfer d to another part witch was confusing but i got round it but because of the plans supplied it was not a big problem.my only criticism is that the mechanism for the keyboard table fell apart it was made of very flimsy material it was put on wright and worked for about 7 times of using it when it fell apart with small metal balls on the floor some as yet not found,i shall ask if the seller can send some replacement pieces and take it from there ..

What is this bit called?
This arrived 'eventually' after several emails between us and both the seller and the courier. The dismay on finding only one sheet of paper 'instructing' to screw such-a-number to such-a-number when the pieces weren't numbered or pictured, was immeasurable. We've assembled it, using 2 fewer bolts than it really needed, as only 4 were supplied but 6 holes were ready made. It's shoddy. But it's up and only going to be used by Hubby, not an energetic youngster, so it might last a while. Not impressed.

Will do the job, but expensive for what it is.
It fits the purpose that I want it for, working from home. A few other reviews say that it isn’t sturdy, this is just fine. Not sure that it was worth nearly £80 though as it is mdf & not the greatest quality. Will do the job though. The only big negative was that it comes in lots of little pieces and no instructions on how to put it together, we worked it out, but you would expect there to be instructions to make it easier.

Nice product but are issues with missing parts
Pleased with the overall product. Arrived with 2 left sides of a drawer and no right side. Contacted the supplier and only full sets are kept in the UK. No spares in UK, product is Chinese. Offered a refund on the missing part and had to do a repair on the drawer myself. Its a nice product, but if there are any missing bits ....good luck

Not very sturdy
This product had chips in the MDF. The wood finish is uneven in places with white patches in places. It was ok to assemble but the keyboard slide shelf sticks and not very descriptive on how to put the metal runner on and one fell apart. It is not sturdy product it sways when on PC, its definitely not worth the money but the design is really nice to look at.

Computer workstation
Well! What a box of Rocket science, but for the price, I didn't expect anything else. There's too many screws, the directions for putting it together are abysmal. But on the upside, if you're great at flat packs go for it, not really suitable for kids, due to instability, could be fastened to wall though, it is MDF laminated, but looks nice when put together.
