Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Star Wars) (Little Golden Book)

Geof Smith’s “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” (Little Golden Book) adapts the sixth entry in the Skywalker Saga, beginning with Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3PO rescuing Han Solo from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. They rejoin the Rebel fleet to launch an attack on the Second Death Star, but Luke first visits Yoda one last time to confirm what he learned in “The Empire Strikes Back.” The final battle will require the Rebels to work with some unlikely allies in a battle of nature over technology while Luke confronts the dreaded Emperor Palpatine. Ron Cohee’s art beautifully captures the action in the style readers of Little Golden Books expect with a sense of wonder that will appeal to younglings as their parents read to them.

I highly recommend this series, I saw golden boots f thought it was for very little kids. My 6 year old just started to get interested in Star wars and these are a great introduction.

My son and I LOVE LOVE LOVE these Star Wars books! Return of the Jedi is my fave movie in the series and this book does a great job of telling the story! It is short enough to be a bedtime story for my 5 year old son but detailed enough to capture the essence of the movie. Great illustrations!!

Super cute artwork. Pretty much summarize the movie perfectly. These are grade school level so you'll have to read them to you little star warriors as I do. But a great item to have.

I gave this whole series to my son on this third birthday. Due to all of the strange names and the chosen vocabulary, I had to explain a lot to him the first few times we read the books. But now, I can read them as they are written and he loves them.

The Golden Books are perfect for any young and old Star Wars fan to read at bedtime. All of these are a favorite in my household.
