I love this light. I use batteries in it and love the remote. It can be set to one color or flash through all the colors. It is light enough to see but not to light to bother my sleep.

This dragon really lights up bright. The plastic dragon lamp insert is plastic so it scratches easily and gathers fingerprints fast as do ALL of these plastic lights from any seller. Just don't touch the face of the incert and it will be beautiful. Clean with glass cleaner if needed.The base lights up too bright and takes away focus from the dragon. I easily fixed this by wrapping the top and sides of the base with black electrical tape. Now all that lights up is the dragon and it does look much better, very cool visual effect! Now the illuminated dragon looks like it is floating in the air! Handle gently and it will be a great little light, drop it once and you might have to buy a new one. At this point I would buy another one from this vendor in the future.

2nd Update: I contacted the seller regarding the issues and received a response quickly. The seller offered a replacement which I received within three days. My grandson was so happy to get his favorite nightlight back.Update: Invested in a new battery for the remote and it still does not work!Bought for my grandson's birthday. He really likes it BUT, it quit working after about one and a half months. We think the remote is broken. Haven't tried a new battery and not sure I want to invest in a new battery which may not work. If it is the battery it should have lasted longer.

The product as a whole is wonderful, it acts as a great night light for my room and sits handsomely on shelf. My only complaints pertain to the internal LED strip, and to the supplied power cord.The LEDs are a bit cheap; while they have worked flawlessly and none have burnt out, the brightness between them varies a noticeable amount, leaving the acrylic section non-uniformly lit. It's not really that big of a deal, but it's something to note.Secondly, the supplied USB power cord is cheaply made, and within a few days the end had frayed, exposing the wires inside. I replaced the cable with another I had from an old phone, and that's been fine since. So just be aware that the USB cable can split and expose the wires. While 5 volts is not normally dangerous to people, it could short out and damage the device itself. Wrapping some electrical tape around the exposed section would make a suitable patch if you do not have an extra cable around.

Product is as shown in its description. The remote is nice because you have the option of setting a color or fading between different colors. My only disappointment is that it does not appear as a 3D image as I expected. It’s a flat design on a flat piece of removable acrylic (nice I didn’t have to worry much about a toddler grabbing it). Nite that you do need to use an adapter plug which does NOT come with it. iPhone charger plug works if you have one.

My son was so excited when this came in. It has a USB plug, so that means I don’t have to spend a fortune on batteries. It is bright and the remote allows you to change colors. Currently, he is using it in his room at night. He is going through the phase where he is scared of the dark and doesn’t want to sleep alone. This has helped so much as it’s bright but but not so much that would prevent sleep.

This is for a young child. I thought this would look cool in his room as he loves Sonic. It does not plug into an outlet and it takes 3 batteries. It looks cheap.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas and she was very happy with it. She loved the different colors you could change it to and how bright it is.
