17mm Jeans Buttons No-Sew Metal Tack Buttons Replacement Kit 12 Set, Matte Silver

I have only used two of these stud fasteners so far on the bib of a pair of dungarees I made for a great granddaughter. When it came to fixing them to the waistband and pockets I realised I needed a totally different style of fasteners (4 part ones, not two part) so unfortunately I could not use the rest of them. I had to source matt silver 4 part S-Spring type snap fasteners from another seller not on Amazon. I tried this seller first but unfortunately they were not available from the seller. They were easy to fix on though so I was pleased with them.The matt silver fasteners are not so easily available as shiny ones.

Correct dimensions, easy to use, reasonable price. You can't go wrong here. I used the buttons to take in a buttoned up skirt, which now fits perfectly.If you aren't used to replacing jean buttons - you're going to need a pair of pliers to remove the original button, and a hammer to fit the new button. Sharp pliers will cut off the back off the old button. Cover the new button in a cloth to avoid damaging it as you hammer.

They do the trick but they are quite flimsy and you can bend out of shape if you put them on too hard.

Like the product very much. Man with a certain size waist ,top buttons of trousers fly off at the most awkward times dressing for Work. Out with the hammer on top of a blue brick top edge, wallop problem solved in 30 seconds. I’ve used all the ones I’ve got I need some more about to re-order. need I say more?

These buttons do the job but are difficult to punch together without damaging the face. They were smaller than expected but that's my fault as I should have checked the size first. They did the job at the time but I wouldn't purchase them again.

Great product and price and very easy to use alot better than stitching buttons on

Used these to put on some denim dungarees that I had made for my daughter. These are the first ones where the spike you put into the button is sharp enough to easily push through the material and denim at that. Really pleased with the result.

Look nice and are easy to install. But do not last long if under a lot of tension!
