Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 3rd Edition

This nurse scope and standards of practice text book is absolutely imperative to get through your first semester of nursing school when you are learning all about a nurse's scope and standards that they will be held to in practice. I rented this book to save money. Renting is a great option if you only need the book for a semester and not for your whole career. The book is very informational and pretty much up to date. I love the ease of using this book and finding what is important and necessary for the classes. I use this book almost daily for my intro to nursing professions class. I would suggest getting this book even if it is not required. I believe this book really helped me get a full understanding of what you can and can not do as a nurse. You will learn what you are expected to know as a nurse. It would also be interesting to get this book even if you are not going to be a nurse forever, it will still give you a good understanding and appreciation of what nurses must know and do. I would suggest this book for anyone going into the health care field.

The book is an easy read and clearly states all the information you need to know regarding the different standards. This was required for a nursing ethics class, and I find it was very helpful.

This book was a requirement for my CSN classes. It is helpful in listing the various standards & objectives that are expected of a school nurse. It’s a text book, so I can’t say it’s the most exciting reading I’ve read, but if provided the information I needed for my practicum. It did arrive in excellent shape.

Very helpful, I find myself referencing this book a lot and using it often. Makes a great addition to my text books. It is smaller and easier to manage than a huge 100000000 page clinical book.
