Iron Forge Tools Clear Anti Slip Tape - 4 inch x 30 Foot, 80 Grit Non Slip Grip Tape

I bought a roll to place on the stairs down to my garage. I haven't gotten around to that yet, but I did put some on the back of a box cutter. The grip is plastic, and if I have a lot of cardboard to cut, it can start to get slick. A couple of strips of tape solved that. I also put some around the diameter of my 64 oz. Klean Kanteen. it's a great water bottle, but the stainless steel body gets slippery. A single strip of tape around the upper portion of the bottle (where I normally hold it to drink) gives it enough grip to positively hold, even when wet. I'll probably use this as grip tape on all sorts of stuff. Maybe I'll even get around to putting on those stair treads.

I wanted to use this on plastic steps I use for the camper but it wont stick to the smooth surface. Nothing wrong with the tape. It does look a bit off white, not clear when applied. It was easy to use and cut & the price was right. I gave it a 5 because the product was fine but my idea for its use wasn’t good. Will be used on the basement steps.

Product has good adhesion and okay grit. Pretty easy to apply. The price is pretty good. I bought the clear, but it’s only kind of clear, as you can see in the picture. I have it on a ramp outside home. The black grit tape, in the picture, is used in construction and is much much more expensive. I’ll have to see how long this much less expensive lasts compared to the other. By the way, the fluffy stuff on both grit tapes in picture is cottonwood seed and has nothing to do with the grit tape.

I got a cheap step stool for my growing toddler and it came with black non-skid tape, which I didn’t love aesthetically. She had an older / bigger toddler tower which we love and that had clear non-skid tape, so I wanted the new step stool to somehow match. I got this clear non-skid tape, and it’s great! The only thing is, you’ll probably receive the roll of tape a bit wrinkly like I did, but that doesn’t affect how it sticks onto the surface you’re using it on. Just make sure it’s stretched out when you’re applying it.

Great product to replace worn out or missing traction strip on vehicle running board steps. My wife complained about the strip missing on her side of the pickup so I finally ordered this to fix and as the say happy wife happy life. Has been on for about a month now holding strong and no more complaining wife. Hardest part was cleaning off the adhesive from the missing strip to prep for install of new. Simply cut to length remove backing and put in place.

Doesn't stick once it gets rained on

Purchased this to use on the top rails of a shoe rack. My shoes kept sliding off the darn thing. 5 minutes later and a pair of scissors and my shoes stay put!

I needed a quick fix at a new house. The ramp up the deck is some type of plastic. It is slippery even when it is not wet. I wish I would have had the time and patience to do a more professional looking job. Looks good enough for the winter. I love that this is a more see through material so that it looks custom installed instead of just homeowner installed. The 80 Grit is great so far for me and my Bernese Dog. My poor old dog was slipping on the ramp before and so was I. He is happy to not be slipping anymore. I’m hoping it lasts at least the winter. We live on a bay that gets hammered by Nor’easters. I love the traction we get now. It is so easy to install.Unfortunately it lasted only one year. This plastic ramp gets a lot of daily use and faces due east.I peeled it off and bought a replacement in heavy black that is meant for swimming areas.This tape may be suitable for indoors or a shady area. I would however, definitely never buy again for our outdoor ramp.

Easy to work with and a perfect width for our stairs and deck. The only problem I had was it not sticking a few places to the already roughened surface (there had been sand mixed with the paint on the deck to try to create an antislip surface prior to using this tape). It would work perfectly on a smooth clean and dry surface. Love this product.
