Heats well with its large flat base. The opening to place water in, is large enough to reach in for cleaning. Nice teakettle.

This tea kettle looks PERFECT on our stove, and I love the pop of color. The whistle is clear and at a good tone that is loud enough to hear from another room. On occasion, if the flame is too high under the kettle the handle can get warm, but not hot enough that you need a pot holder or towel. The handle is rubberized and comfortable to grip. The tab on the handle is great for opening lid/whistle on the spout and works smoothly. Pouring from the spout is smooth and doesn't splash. The kettle has an mark on the outside showing the "max fill" line for water, which is nice, but would be helpful if this line were transferred to the inside. I love this kettle, the design and function of it. I would definitely buy another one!

I needed a tea kettle for a 2 month air bnb rental and I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I planned to leave behind. For $12 this was ideal. It's well made, the gunmetal gray goes perfect in their kitchen, and the delivery was quick. The lid can be a little tricky (it's tight...better than loose) but if you lift and replace one side at a time it's fine. Work with it and you'll get the hang. Hands down recommend this as an inexpensive kettle to boil water in.

It looks pretty on my stove-top. It lasted months before I burned it and destroyed it, my fault. I tried to buy it again, but the price had changed and was not affordable to me.

Whistle does not work, barely audible. This was a very important factor in my decision to purchase it. This is not my first disappointment with a Cuisinart purchase.

I purchased this teapot to replace an old one that was leaking. I was a bit hesitant at first due to the price- however when I received it I was very satisfied with the appearance and solid, heavy construction. It is well mad and much higher quality than most that you find in dept and basic kitchen stores. Also heats water well and the lid fits tightly and the whistle is nice and soft, not high and shrill. Well worth the price after you see it. It is the second one I ordered, bc the first one was stollen from my doorstep!!

Disappointing product. Gas stove use will make the handle extremely hot to touch - need to use oven mitts However, more frustrating is that the finish is now wearing away near the bottom of kettle due to the heat, making it look very cheap and damaged. Certainly not worth the $50 I paid for the item. Buying a KitchenAid kettle as a replacement

Perfect, works great on induction cooktop. A little gard to gauge max fill as line is outside with a sticker, no fill line side dark enamel interior. But with time itll be easier.

I love the look of this red enamel whistling tea kettle! I works perfectly and is pleasing to the eye. I like the size of it, as some are too heavy, but this one is just right. I would happily give this as a gift to someone I really like.

High quality. Have had for several years, any spills wipe right off. Very pleased. And love that it whistles.

Nice kettle for one to two people. Not an ideal size if one was entertaining and needed water for 3+ people. The water really bubbles/splatters out when pouring immediately after boil. My old kettle didn’t Splatter out like this one.
