the book could have ended in a much better tone exceedingly terrifying the book left me in tears i would not recommend this book for emotional people

My body physically hurts from reading this book. It’s probably the most intense book I’ve read in a long time, and it's so fast paced. It took me a few days to finish it, only because of how much information I had to process. It was realistic, touched a lot of sensitive topics through the eyes of a mere child. I absolutely loved the plot and characters, but there are a few things I didn’t quite like. Although it was fast paced and kept me hooked, there were points where the flow got way too fast for me to follow, and I had reread many chunks of the book. This put me off a bit, but overall I love this book so much! A bit heavy, but an incredible read. Definitely recommend to people looking for an emotional and traumatic read.
