I use this flame for fishing rod building, warming epoxy to remove bubbles.

idk what the other peoples reviews are all about. i poured in some denatured alcohol and she lit up just fine put the cap on and its been a week now with the same level of fuel inside. no evaporation going on here. would recomend 100%

looks and feels good but does not stay lit with alcohol, so not good alcohol lampwill use on patio with citronella oil

It took 3 tries to get this to work in my laminar flow hood: 70% isopropyl - no way. 95% ethanol 5% isopropyl - it lit but would not stay lit in the downdraft. Finally I tried 99% isopropyl and it worked in the hood. Not a very powerful flame but also does not threaten to burn the overhead filter and it keeps things lot cooler than using a propane torch. I recommend this.
