A box set of high-heel action. In 'Charlie's Angels' Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu star as the glamorous crimebusting trio in this big screen adaptation of the hit 1970s TV show. Assigned by their reclusive boss Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe) to investigate the disappearance of Eric Knox, a computer scientist whose revolutionary new invention promises to make him a billionaire, it's not long before the Angels find him hidden away in the headquarters of business rival Roger Corwin. But things are not what they seem and the Angels soon find themselves using their superior Kung Fu skills and state-of-the-art gadgetry in an attempt to foil a cunning revenge plot. Whilst in the sequel 'Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle' Barrymore, Diaz and Liu reprise their roles (as do several others) as the glamorous crimebusting trio. This time they are assigned by their reclusive boss Charlie (again voiced by Forsythe) to find a pair of rings that have been coded to contain all the names on the FBI's Witness Protection Program, after several of the names have turned up dead. Along the way they encounter several foes, namely ex-Angel Madison Lee (Demi Moore), the Thin Man (Crispin Glover) and Dylan's ex, Seamus (Justin Theroux), as well as many reasons to use their high-heels and fighting skills. Watch out for several cameos from the likes of Bruce Willis, the Olsen twins and, original 'Angel', Jaclyn Smith.

Brilliant! We loved it!
My husband and I both really loved this film! It’s entertaining from start to finish. As a huge Kristen Stewart fan, I personally think she did an excellent job, I was not disappointed at all! I haven’t seen the older Charlie’s Angels, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I definitely recommend this film!!

Better than most give it credit for.
Movie trailers can make or break a movie and that seems to be the case here as the trailers for Charlies Angels looked pretty bad, it also doesn't help when the director very hypocriticaly says this movie is specifically for women then turns around and blames men when the movie fails at the box office. Do you or don't you want men to watch this movie? Pick one.None the less I like to give most movies a chance and I'm happy to say Charlies Angels is a fun movie; it doesn't necissarily do anything you haven't seen before but it is a good time regaurdless. Its funny and the action is pretty good. The acting was solid across the board, Elizabeth Banks and Patrick Stewart are always good but the Angels themselves are really good too and they all have great chemistry together. Kristen Stewart is the stand out for me though as she steals the show and for anyone that likes to make fun of her for "only having one expression" this is by far the most expressive I've ever seen her and shes hillarious in this to boot. When its all said and done 2019 continues to be year of movies that failed at the box office that I actually ended up really enjoying. If you enjoy the early 2000s Charlies Angels movies you'll definately enjoy this; and although I've never seen the tv show this movie references both the 2000 movies and the show so it actually stands a semi-sequel.Although speaking of the 2000 movies (and I'm just going to guess it was due to budget) when nostalgia is such a huge thing right now it would have been great to see those three together again on screen. Its a shame this movie bombed because I'd happily go see another one.

A must see film
Kristen Stewart was outstanding, as was the other actresses. The storyline made the film more interesting, not the same old, same old. The film compelled you to watch from the start. Comedic without straining a smile.

Great film
Really don't understand the hate for this film. Thought it was a pretty great film, and actually preferred it to the 2000 film, and its sequel.

Just go with it!
Regardless of what the haters said, I loved this film. Its a popcorn movie and very little has changed from the other movies except for the necessary updating. Just sit back and enjoy, not everything has to have hidden depth!

Female Power
'Charlie's Angels' is about three female spies who are on a mission to track down an assassin and to stop the release of a new device which can be turned into an explosive weapon. This 2019 remake of the TV series was much better than I was expecting it to be as it was really fun and manages to have a decent story and a twist regarding who's involved. The cast who play the angels aren't that well known, expect for Kristen Stewart, but they were brilliant and had such fun personalities. Also Elizabeth Banks if the writer and director and who knew she could do such a good job. It's easily feminist and includes some impressive stunts. I also liked Patrick Stewart's character and the role he plays.
