this soap is good for my husband my husband always itchy if he used other soap but if he used this he’s not itchy i love this soap for my hubby and the smell very mild the color is good and very affordable

It’s not as big as I remember it ( each bar) but still have that lingering smell brought high school/ college days memories back. May you continue to prosper and stay through the years, the fragrance of simplicity and class

Absolutely a delight. It is an honest to goodness old fashion smell, especially if you are Spaniard descent, it lasts, moisturize and lathers for a clean feeling. My grandparents used it, my parents used it and now I use it.

Very excellent smell and refreshing

I grew up in Spain and have always loved this soap. It has a fresh, clean scent and is a well made, fine milled soap, meaning it is very long-lasting. It's hard to describe this scent, as I've know idea what exactly is in it, but it's a light, natural scent, reminiscent of the fields it is named for. Heno means hay in Spanish and Pravia is the town where it was first made, over 100 years ago. It is a staple in Spain and was thrilled to find it here for a reasonable price. They now make shower gel and some other things too. If you like natural scents and the European type of soap, I highly recommend. The three bars together make a nice gift, too.

This was my first time trying this soap and found it to be a terrific, if somewhat expensive, indulgence. Heno De Pravia is made in Mexico from a Spanish formula. The soap has a nice, pale-green color, almost the same as the inside of an avocado. Lathers nicely and it gets you super clean. But that magical aroma...so many others have mentioned but not described it. Because it's hard to do. If you've ever smelled a bar of Ivory, the white bar soap that floats, it's sort of like that only more intense. Just a pure, 'clean' smell. For me, it brings back memories of childhood and the way American-made soaps USED to smell...before the manufacturers began loading up their soaps with fragrances, dyes, perfumes and Heaven knows what else. I have no problem with most of these...I love Coast and Irish Spring, both of which are notoriously fragrance-heavy. But Heno is in a class by itself. It just smells....GOOD!!

This soap is just okay, nothing special. Does what soap is supposed to do. The scent is so light, it's almost unscented. The reason I'm deducting 2 stars is: 1- the color. Who makes a soap army green? 2- a small splash to the eye and I felt like it was on fire! Keep away from eyes should be a warning, but after reading that an ingredient is ALCOHOL, it's no wonder. Why put ALCOHOL in soap?
