Brooklyn Athletics Men's Twill Jogger Pants Soft Stretch Slim Fit Trousers

Currently, I wear a 38” (38 inches / 38W / 38 W) US waist size pants (went up in size after having major surgery). Originally, I ordered a size x-large (xl / extra large), which fit well (when I was still a 36” waist size) but I needed the pants to be slightly loose for the surgery I had (I couldn’t wear tight or snug fitting clothing, as it would irritate the incision points post-op). I returned the xl’s and ordered a size up, the 2x-large (xxl / extra extra large / xx-l / xx-large), they were perfect and roomy enough to wear without bothering the incision points on my stomach. However, fast-forward a couple of months, I gained weight and went up 2” in waist size so now I fit even better in the xxl (to my dismay).Notes on washing & drying: The pants WILL shrink a bit when you wash them, you’ll probably lose about 1”-2” in waist size so take that into consideration. I wash these on the “hot” washer setting and dry on medium heat; I always tie the waist lace before washing and drying as it helps to maintain the waist elasticity and helps prevent excessive stretching of the waist.As for the photos, this is what my pants look like after 2.5 months of wear and tear (and about 4 days of wearing since their last wash).Maintenance: The plants look much crisper after a good wash and dry. Make sure to shake these out well, push the pocket in flat, and let them lay out flat after drying or they’ll get wrinkly and look disheveled.My general stats: 5’6” / 38” waist / big butt & thick thighs / 27” inseam / 220 lbsSince I’m short, these joggers are the perfect length to fold the bottom cuff inside itself, which makes these look like tailored pants instead of joggers. I personally hate the frumpy look of the bottom of joggers (including these), BUT if you’re short enough to get away with this trick, then you can dress up or dress down these pants to look somewhat nice or really casual.Fabric weight: These are on the thinner side and are comfortable enough to wear even when it’s a bit hotter out (70-85 degrees Fahrenheit). I get easily overheated so fabric breathability is super important to me. I’d say these breathe well and won’t smother your nether regions (like other pants will). I live in a Mediterranean climate (coastal dry heat ranging from 65 to 100, almost never dropping below 50 degrees Fahrenheit) so these pants are very versatile for wearing in the “cold” (50-68 degrees Fahrenheit) or in the “heat” (68-85 degrees Fahrenheit; if it’s over 85 degrees Fahrenheit, I wear shorts).I like these pants so much that I bought a second pair of the Tabacco color (size 2x-large) and a new pair of the Black color (size 2x-large). I also have a pair of the Khaki color (size 2x-large) but I’m not as big of a fan of them (mostly because I think all khaki colored pants are ugly).* I listed various versions of the same sizes in parathesis in order to make it easier to find when using the search review feature.I wrote this review specifically for the product called “Brooklyn Athletics Men’s Twill Jogger Pants Soft Stretch Slim Fit Trousers”, size 2x-large, colors: khaki & tabacco. I paid $15.75 for each item. I purchased these items in February 2018.

I LOVE THESE PANTS! Very comfy, love the taper style of the pants. It’s been very hot and humid where I live, but I was able to wear them out one night where it was just mildly warm. I don’t feel restricted in these pants, able to move around, flexible. Of course, I love the cuff of the pants as well. All black, totally a versatile piece. As far as the fit, I purposely got a size up because of my build. My thighs are much larger than my calves. I typically would wear a medium in these pants, but Brooklyn Athletics has that NY fit, so I know it’s meant to “fit” you. But, I personally like some room. For reference, I’m 5’9” at 170lbs. Semi-athletic build.

These pants fit, feel and look great, however the quality is really bad. I really want to love these. I ordered a pair in black and loved them, then ordered an olive green pair right away. Those ones came with issues in the stitching, and the seller exchanged for a new pair. I got the replacements yesterday and washed them and a back pocket got detached from the inside right away. These probably won’t hold up, but I’ll probably just keep them and just not use the pocket until they completely fall apart. I had better luck with the black ones, so maybe just stay clear of the olive green?

One month update: Worn them maybe three times, washed them twice. Seams and threads coming out in several areas. These won’t last a year. I’d honestly rather these just cost $30 and last, rather than wasting $17 on trash. Too bad. Don’t waste your money. The price IS too good to be true._________________________________________Very cool looking joggers. Love the style. Fabric was not quite as soft as I expected, but no problem, I’ll just wear them in slightly different situations than I expected to.Size: from the sizing chart I thought I was for sure a medium, maybe a large. Every other guy on here said size up, and I agree. If in doubt or on the fence, size up. (Have yet to wash/dry. I’m sure they’ll shrink a bit and I’ll be even happier I sized up).Quality: Eh about as expected for $16.99 pants I bought on the internet. This is the reason I only gave 4 stars. The stitching/surging on the ankles was pretty sloppy and there’s a bunch of extra fabric sewn into the right pocket lining. No huge issues.Durability: TBD, just got them. Have yet to wash. Expectations are low, but again, $16.99 pants.All in all, mostly happy. I’d get another pair of these!

I like the pants a lot but they started to come apart at the butt seems. I had them less than two weeks before I noticed. I really only wore them a few times also. Wish they'd last longer.

Upon trying on these pants, I was impressed at first. They seemed soft, and moderately flexible. The only downside was that they were too short, which was disappointing, considering I'm 5'8"ish, and there's normally extra pant leg around my ankles. So I sent them back, and ordered a medium. The new pair fit perfectly well, and were put into the wash for the next day. Keep in mind, the washing/drying instructions were followed EXACTLY to a "t." Trying them on the next day, they were too small. In fact, they were smaller than the previous pair of pants that I had sent back. I returned the shrunk pair, and didn't bother with ordering a third, and larger pair.

This is my second time ordering this item.To begin: there's threads everywhere. Every single seam has horrible sewing and threads are showing literally on every seam (cuffed ankles threads showing, inseam threads showing, pockets threads showing, etc.)These are not stretchy pants at all. Not even close. One small incorrect move and you'll rip these cheap pants, and I even ordered a size larger than necessary. I don't understand how they have such good feedback.

I hesitated slightly after reading some of the reviews regarding the sizing, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. The description clearly says "slim/skinny/athletic fit" which is what I was looking for, since i needed a pair of slimmer fit pants for cycling commute. This pants fits like your typical slim/skinny jeans and chino and it's made of some really good quality material. Most of my pants are size 34 and I bought this in size medium and fits perfectly.

El jugger es bastante bonito, el color es agradable a la vista; los materiales se ven buenos no de la mayor calidad pero si superior al precio que se compro, mi recomendación yo mido 1.72, peso 73 kilos y soy de complexión atlética, la talla mediana quedó perfecta un poco justa pero mantiene el espacio y la estética, pide una talla más grande a tu talla normal ya que el modelo es algo justo. Recomendado totalmente una excelente prenda y el precio muy adecuado a la calidad, solo calcula correctamente tu talla y te dejas de devoluciones. Compraré más de esta marca. El envío llegó mucho antes de lo esperado y eso suma más puntos. Amazon no me ha fallado :)

These are exactly what I wanted. They are excellent lazy pants. I wear them around the house, grocery shopping, when I go rock climbing. They’re not tight (I’m a girl, 5’5” 130lbs), fit comfy around the waist and slightly loose through the leg and are stretchy enough to do about anything in. The quality isn’t earth shattering, which is why it’s only 4 stars. There were some loose threads when they arrived, etc. but for the price I’m happy.

Nice product, quality seemed very good, didn't get a chance to wash them as they fit really small. So I am ordering the next size up. My son usually takes a medium about a 34' waist, but he prefers them to be a relaxed fit so sometimes he takes a large so they are more roomy. However with these the large fit but was very tight, will reorder to an x-large, so hopefully they are a more relax fit. Great price for the quality.

Buen material, muy bonito diseño. El unico problema es que la talla viene reducida, soy talla 30 y pedi la talla Chica haciendo caso omiso a los comentarios de los demas porque vi un comentario que decia que era talla 30 y le quedaba bien la talla chica. ERROR. Soy de Cuerpo atletico, delgado, mido 1.79 y la parte del cuadricep me quedo demasiado pegado, que al sentarme sentia que se iba a reventar el pantalon, a lo mejor si tus piernas son muy delgadas te podria quedar, mi circunferencia del cuadricep es de 57 cm, no es muy grande tampoco y me quedo super justo. De la cintura y lo demas me quedo solamente justo, igual se veía muy bien, parecia que traia unos pantalones de esos que usan los futbolistas que están muy pegados a las piernas, solo que este pantalon no es tan stretch como para quedarmelo y usarlo asi y para que se me vea como los modelos de las imagenes, tendre que irme por la talla Mediana.

Me gustó mucho el color gris viene un poco más obscuro que en la foto, mido 1,73 y en ese momento pesaban como 63 kilos me quedo muy bien el tamaño mediano, la tela es recomendable no es pants sino pantalón no le doy 5 estrellas por qué algunas costuras no se sienten muy resistentes pero nada que no se pueda solucionar con una aguja e hilo

I had previously purchased the same pair in Army Green and they fit perfectly (there were several loose/extra threads hanging out, but nothing horrible), the elastics around the ankle were nice a tight and everything fit as expected. I decided to purchase again in Khaki, however even though they were the same size and style, the fit was completely different. The ankles were extremely loose, almost as though no elastic was there at all, and they were so tight around the knees/thighs I didn't want to risk bending in them. Seems to be very hit and miss which is a shame because the previous one's I purchased are great.

I'm 5'11 and 170lb, pretty thin, and despite the page saying that the model is 6'1" and wearing a medium, these feel a lot more like a small to me. I wear medium in almost everything I own, and these are like wearing tights, except they're not particularly stretchy. The fabric's not particularly soft either.I'm hoping they'll stretch out and soften up a bit with wear, but definitely not what i expected.

Im 6'5 and slim. I Bought black, camo, and khaki in xxl because I was worried about length. Black is the decent fitting pair (baggy crotch, not fitting like the picture xxl might be too big in the waist but the length is just good enough). The camo is huge, baggy and not slim fit. The khaki is between the camo and black for fit (wide and baggy). Amazon needs better quality control.

Lo recomendando para actividades físicas ligeras y para un estilo casual, la talla mediana me quedo excelente tanto de largo como de cintura, mido 1,82cm y peso 75kg )para que lo tomen como referencia, compre 2 colores de los cuales el negro se llena fácilmente de pelusa algo que me molesta, sin embargo el de color caramelo sigue perfecto.

Cant really complain at this price points. Yes, there are loose threads here and there but no big deal. For size, im size 30 for jeans and bought M for this and it fits fine. Quality is probably the same as Old Navy or H&M and this is at least $10 cheaper. I highly recommend this

This is my second pair of these joggers. The first pair fit perfectly so I thought I would order a second pair. For some reason the second pair was much smaller than the first pair. I'm not sure why. The whole reason I purchased the second pair was because the first fit so well. For this reason I give it a 2 star (the first pair I would give a 5 star)

Mido 1,67 y peso 70 kg y la talla chica me quedó muy bien, es verdad que queda algo entallado, pero así es el modelo, me gustó mucho el diseño y la tela. La razón por la que le que no le doy cinco estrellas, es porque el resorte de la cintura me parece un poco flojo.

La tela está muy bien para ejercitar. Si eres talla 32 de cintura, tu talla es mediana. Yo lo compré talla grande porque no me gustan justos de los muslos y el trasero, aun así me quedó justo de los muslos aunque poco flojo de la cintura, si hubiera comprado el M, me habría quedado apretado de los muslos, así que estuvo bien haber comprado talla grande. Mido 1.75 y peso 80 kilos. Mi recomendación es que si te gustan muy justos, compres M, si te gustan cómodos compra G.
