Kenchii Scorpion Shears (46T Thinner)

I have many thinning and chunking shears for both myself and my labradoodles. This is hands down my favorite. Super sharp and takes off a good amount of hair. I haven’t used it on my dogs yet but it works well on my own hair so far. Very nice!

I bought these scissors after frustration of buying a thinning shear at a box pet store. Those were so horrible I couldn't believe why someone would ever buy them! Total hack job! So after much research online and amazon, I settled on these, knowing that I was paying a lot more... but not as much as their higher end scissors. But it had good reviews. I received in the mail within a few days and I tried them immediately (thank you for the quick shipment). It was like night and day! For an entry level Kenchii thinning shear, these worked great for me! I only plan on using this for my two shih tzu's so it works perfectly. I just wonder how much easier the grooming could be with even a higher end scissor! The blades are sharp, it thins very easily and blends really well. Easy to hold and maneuver. Would recommend to anyone looking to invest a little bit into good grooming tools to get a more professional look for their dogs at home.

I am a professional dog groomer at a big box pet store and these thinning shears are amazing. Compared to the older Geibs I was using, these are a thousand times better. They work beautifully and are easy to clear hair off of. They are lighter than my old thinners and much nicer on the wrist. They came in a nice box with a foam insert that has a cutout to fit the shears. I use this box for storage and transport as it keeps the secure, it is cardboard so it won't last forever. They also came with two finger guards that match the purple behind the scorpion and a small container of lubricant. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great value and a great thinning shear.

Wow these thinning shears are great. I had been using a pair of $25 shears from a local pet store for the last 8 months and they were very slow to use on my Wheaton Terrier. The Kenchii Scorpion 46 is crazy sharp with super smooth action and comfortable to hold. I will be recommending these to everyone that grooms their own pet. They are not cheap, but the quality is top shelf for sure and they are just a please to use.

I was excited to get my first pair of Kenchii’s, unfortunately these are on the cheaper end of their products and they really don’t cut that well. I will try again with a better Kenchii line.

I have always been a do it yourselfer and it just irked me to pay $100 a month to a groomer for my two boys. I realized long ago that you have to have the tools if you want to do it right.I watched probably 100 YouTube Videos and several recommended this brand of thinning Shears. You must have thinning shears. I tried a cheap brand first - don't waste your time and money. These shears is whats makes my amateur doggie haircuts look good. If I mess up, Kenchii to the rescue.I got these here on Amazon through Shear Precision in October 2013. So why am I writing a review 6 months later? I had a question and got an answer that solved my problem in just a few hours. I did not realize that you can adjust the tension by turning the little knob on the shears. Told you I was an amateur. Anyway, thanks to A+ customer support, I am writing a review. It was a great product before then but I expect a great product at this price. Customer support was just the icing on the cake that had me come here and review.You will not be sorry with these shears.

This is a very nice thinning shear. I use it on my Aussie sherphard. Works well and is very sharp. The only complaint I have is that occasionally (after 8 months) the shears do not completely close while cutting... It will leave about 10-20% of the cutting stroke remaining. This the best of the 3 thinning shears that I have purchased (also the most expensive). It has lasted over a year and still cuts well. The occasional jamming is a nuisance but the performance is sooo much better than my 2 previous cheap shears.

These Kenchii Scorpion Shears, were recommended by a groomer that I love, and her recommendations are always spot on, and again she hit the nail on the head with this product. They're just perfect, and really make my job a lot easier when grooming the puppies. I am a Kenchii fan and they stand behind their products, which really means a lot these days. Great Product and Great Seller!
