I usually don’t write long reviews, but I love this pillow so far. I got it yesterday and will try to update again in a few months.Anyway, I’ve tried around 20 pillows over the last two years - multiple memory foam neck pillows, buckwheat pillow, travel pillow, wedge pillow, etc. All of them sucked except this one. My neck is so sensitive that I always felt like I was laying on a pillow made of rocks and razors. It got to the point where I could only sleep with small towels or shirts rolled under my neck.I have horrible neck pain due to a bunch of conditions, including- bulging discs in C5 C6 area- cervical stenosis- degenerative disc disease- arthritis in spine- tilted/twisted C1 (went to an upper cervical chiropractor who “fixed” this and made me worse- thoracic scoliosis- horrible shoulder pain that remains after injuring my shoulder (usually worse when laying on a pillow)- burning sensation in chest and collarbone areas due to my spinal issues pinching nerves etc.- cervicogenic dizziness/central vertigo (doctors can’t seem to agree on the main cause of my daily dizziness/swaying/rocking)- post concussion syndrome and other health problems- occipital neuralgia (during flareups a pillow can make my brain feel like it’s on fire)- CCII’ve been exhausted for years because I toss and turn all night, wake up with horrible sharp head pain, have excruciating neck pain, etc.I ordered this geese feather pillow out of desperation because I remembered that when I was a child, I had a really soft feather pillow that I loved and used for years. I needed a pillow that was soft and semi-flat because I have a short neck and every pillow I tried seem to be too high for me. Which would then cause excruciating pain with my shoulders and collarbone as I tried to sleep.This pillow comes with three removable inserts. I started with one insert, and that was too flat for me. I was surprised because I thought I would love it. Three inserts were way too high. Two inserts were perfect for me.My head was gently supported, but not to the point where I felt pain or pressure (pillows usually cause horrible pressure in my head right away). My neck was slightly raised off the bed, but not to the point where it hurt my shoulders or collarbones. Well, I take that back. When I first laid down on the pillow, my upper body pain was at a 2 out of 10 instead of my usual 10 out of 10. I also had some dizziness when I first laid down, which is normal for me with new pillows. It took some brief adjusting.I slept pretty well, but did have to adjust the pillow a few times throughout the night behind my head. I sleep on my back, and occasionally I could feel feathers poking me in the top of my head. Keep in mind my head is super sensitive so others may not have this problem.I didn’t have to toss and turn to fix the pillow. I just reached behind my head and scrunched it a bit. That also helped me give my neck the right amount of support. Hard to explain, but picture a neck roll and that’s basically what I was doing to this pillow by. Scrunching it the way I wanted it.I woke up confused because I had no pain and no headache. I usually wake up with horrible head pain. I also woke up without dizziness or vertigo, which was wonderful.I’m hopeful that I finally found the right pillow for my head, neck, and shoulder issues. I’ll try to keep you guys updated.P.S. I’m super sensitive to smells and hate the way memory foam smells even after airing it out. Memory foam also makes me itch. This feather pillow didn’t cause any itching or have any weird smells. After a little adjusting, I was able to fall asleep almost immediately when I laid on it.

I’ve searched high and low for a pillow like this. I was very impressed! First of all, it’s really not that expensive. And it’s the best pillow I’ve ever had. 2 inserts was just right for me. If you want a pillow that’s not too firm and one you kind of need to fluff, then this is it.I have never done a product review before if that tells you anything. Literally on cloud nine!

I've been using memory foam pillows for years. I always had down pillows growing up, so I thought I'd give them another try. I will never go back to memory foam again! This pillow is fantastic! I did take 1 section out. It's quite "poofy", I looked at and thought uh oh, this is going to be way too high (I'm a stomach sleeper). Was I wrong! I played down and my head just melted into the pillow like I was laying on a cloud! The best part, no stink, no airing out for a week and still smelling the ick from the memory foam pillows, no sweating like the synthetic ones, no feeling like my face is in a freezer like the cooling ones, just complete comfort and great sleep. I highly recommend!!!

The pillowcase cover for the feather inserts, appears to be high quality but it's filled with polyester fill, not down. The three removable inserts are made of feather, not down.I did not like the synthetic feeling of the pillowcase. So I pulled out the three inserts and I put them inside of a regular pillow case. I'm about 70% satisfied. I like the feather inserts. Two of them in a regular pillow case are comfortable. The seller should make clear that the case for the inserts is polyester fill

This pillow(s) are perfect for ourr needs! You can adjust the height, and the material is amazing!We bought over 10 pillows over the past month and non od them were surving a good purpose! This is such a good product for the price! LOVE IT!

I got this pillow because it was goose down and had great reviews. I waited in anticipation for my new pillow to arrive. I opened the package with anticipation as I unwrapped the new Three Geese pillow. On first inspection it seemed like a win. There was no odor, it was full of loft. It had three individual layers of down feather pillows inside. It seemed like a dream come true and what could possibly go wrong because after all it was adjustable! I noticed right away that the pillow was very hard and not comfortable so I removed one goose layer. I tried it with two geese inside the zippered case. It was still not quite right and why did it feel so hot at night? I could not feel the feathers because of the poly fill outer case, which was good, but I also think that is why it feels hot. After tossing and turning, and attempts to ignore the crinkling sounds it makes, it was still too hard. I woke up with a neck ache, and painful aching shoulders. Why oh why was there a knotted muscle in my right shoulder? This won’t do! I removed another goose layer from the pillow and hoped this would do the trick. With anticipation and ready for slumber, I rested my head on the now one goose pillow. It was as long night of tossing and turning, reshuffling the pillow and waking up with a crick in the neck. It has to go back, it will not do! I packed it up and send it back and that was the end of the Three Geese Pillow! It was either too noisy, to hard, or too soft. I could not get the right level of support without it being too firm, or the right height. It is a nice pillow, but it did not work for me. I'd recommend it to others if you do not have neck problems and/or require something supportive, but soft. With this, it's either too soft without support or too firm with support.

Please consider the great features of these three feather pillows in outer shell: they are filled with soft feathers and outer shell is poly fiber that is not only super soft but also incredibly pliable. By adding or subtracting pillows, you have the ability to customize the thickness to your liking.

Loved how the head just sinks into these feather soft pillows. Also super convenient to adjust the height by removing/adding pillows to the main case. Only removed 1 start from the full rating coz 1. it smelled a bit bird-feathery and also, if you're looking for slight firmness in the pillows these won't be ideal since i'm a tummy sleeper and sometimes my nose just sinks into the pillow making breathing 99% efficient instead of 100. Still, great quality purchase and my friend who was visting me recently used them and loved them too.

Nice and thin pillows and no unwanted chemical scents.I use each one individually with just a pillow case and I don't have any problems.

Soy de las personas que no se acomoda con ninguna almohada, si la almohada es muy alta amanezco con dolor de cabeza y cuello. Si esta muy baja no duermo bien y amanezco cansado. Llevo dos noches durmiendo con ella y he dormido muy bien. La recomiendo bastante.
