I have purchased 2 of these for my Tab As (2019 version) and I like the protection that they give the tablets. They also have a sloping edge for the faceplate where the edge contacts the screen, unlike others that have a big drop to the screen.That said, they do have an issue of the face edges coming to close to the active screen edges and still not able to get finger into swipe down area. If you are using a glass screen protector (like I do) the faceplate puts a slight downward pressure on the screen and I have problems swiping down (biggest problem area) and have to really work to get the screen to react. I have pretty mush resolved this by using a dremel and carving the face back about an 1/8 inch and then polishing back smooth. This seems to resolve the issue and I can also get my finger into the area to get the drop down screen.It's a pain in the rear to have to do, but after trying several different case, these really are nice and easy to hold (and they really are great protective cover).If not for the faceplate issue, would have given 5 stars.

The hard plastic parts of the case don't feel durable, but we haven't had any problems with it holding up to occasional use. The rubber parts are easy to hold onto during use and for the most part stay snapped into the hard parts. The only real criticism is that the kickstand is really hard to unsnap from the closed position (generally requires the use of a utensil to get in there and pop it out.)

Got this case because I wanted something with a good grip So my tiny hands don't drop my tablet. I also wanted something sturdy with a stand.+After opening it the chemical smell was so bad I got a migraine within a minute. It smells like burnt tires, plastic, and electrical all together. It was horrible. I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. Tried to air it out. No go.I couldn't handle the smell.+The plastic is also cheap. It might be thick but it's like the thicker cheap plastic you see that would crack easy. You've experienced a cheap plastic like this before I'm sure.+ The case is very hard to take apart once you get it on. You can watch the plastic "discolor" like it's gone break if you try to take it off. It's almost like they don't expect you to take it off ever again.+ The outer silicone case isn't right. It has some spots that press into the case but it doesn't really hold it on.+ The outer silicone has virtual no grip. So if you have small hands like me. 5' woman. Than this case is going to drive you crazy with that alone.+ A lot of people said they cant get the back stand to open. That's because the tabs are wide on bottom sides of stand.Pry up the bottom with screwdriver or butter knife, whatever you got and then use a nail file and file down each side tab a little bit.It's cheap plastic and comes off quick so a little goes a long way. Shut it after each little alteration to see if it's where you want it.You can always shave more plastic off but you can't put it back on.+ I don't recommend using that flimsy stand though. Will probably break really quick.+ It's only a free return if you drop it off at UPS your self.-0/5 I do not recommend.

I purchased this case for my 10 y.o. son's tablet. The tablet fits snugly inside of the plastic case, though the plastic brittle and feels cheap. Still, with the silicon cover around it the tablet feels secure and protected. There are lots of tabs on the silicon that slide into the plastic case so that it fits without gaps. The plastic makes me wonder how long the stand will last; only time will tell. I needed to remove the case to later insert the SD card. Oh my goodness! Perhaps I don't know the trick to its removal (though I've removed many an Otter Box plastic cases w/o such frustration), but it took my at least 5 minutes with a tiny screwdriver to pry the tabs apart and release the tablet. Fortunately it didn't break.

This case is built to withstand punishment. Comes in 3 pieces. The top and bottom are plastic and once aligned the tablet goes in between them and snaps in place securely.. The third piece is rubber and wraps all the way around the back and sides. The cover is thick but manageable and perfect for my needs and it doesn't slip out of my hands. The kickstand is in the back allowing portrait or landscape viewing. I didn't want a bookcover type that gets put away. My tablet is left out all the time.

I can't say enough good things about this product. Absolutely great tablet case. I ordered another case initially and returned it the same day. Both had 4.5 star ratings but this one fit my needs better. Easier to hold and protects the front better with the deeper lip protection for the screen. The stand also serves as great handle. I'd give it 6 stars if that was an option.

I bought this case for my sons brand new tablet to use for school (online learning). The back stand broke pretty much right away and my kids are careful so figured it was just a fluke and i just decided to order a replacement case. While I am waiting for that case to come in my son drops the tablet (with the case on it) from the bed to the wood floor and the tablet screen cracked in a spider vein pattern all over. This was not a far drop at all and not hard by any means. HIS BRAND NEW TABLET FOR SCHOOL!!!! Now a product I bought to protect something I can't afford to replace has failed :(

The Bingcok Heavy Duty Rugged Full-Body Hybrid Shockproof Drop Protection cover case for the 2019 Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a budget friendly buy. Constructed of strong plastic makes the case feel sturdy enough to trust my young kids when handling their tablets. The one improvement I would suggest for the company is to manufacture more sticky grip texture replacing the smooth rubber on the case cover. other than that, this tablet case is a great buy.
