Works well, a little more compact than some of the other versions I have seen floating around. I use this on a Bose A20 Dual plug to Airbus XLR in the Airbus A319/320/321

Recently switched planes from Boeing to Airbus and needed to convert my single sided Telex for Frenchie. Works great, no issues at all as far as performance.Only small issue is that I wish the overall adapter was a bit smaller in form and lighter, but otherwise it has performed flawlessly so far.

Unfortunately my adapter was faulty and I missed the return window. When used on the plane I could hear some background hissing “electrical” noise but transmission was not possible. I noted in the description it said the 5th pin was deactivated so I wondered if maybe it was not compatible with my headset so I got them both checked. It was checked with my headset (Sennheiser HME46) by an authorised Sennheiser dealer and the adapter was found to be faulty. I might have just got unlucky as it does have plenty of positive reviews and the external build quality seems ok.

My husband needed an adapter for his headphones for the airplane and this did exactly what he needed at a fraction of the price. Other pilots he's talked to said they use this as well and it costs a significant amount.less
