It is a good ball, holds together well.

Perfect size but not what u expected aa a SOFTBALL. It was pretty hard.

I wanted this to break in my 15in slow pitch glove. Wanted to get max pocket size for tracking those out field flies.

Initially when I bought this ball (I must agree with all of the other reviews) it was very firm. It is almost painful to catch during early uses of this ball. However, it is important to note that the ball softens tremendously over time. It is really durable and has retained its shape wonderfully even after significant use.Ultimately, I would say that this is a good purchase for people who plan on using it long-term and don't mind having to break it in at first. If you are buying it and hoping that it will be immediately soft and ready for gloveless play, then you will definitely be disappointed.

We bought this ball to be used for quick pickup games. The large size makes it both fun and competitive for a wider range of players. The ball is big, but heavy; this makes it easier to hit than a regular baseball or softball, while simultaneously making it harder to hit incredibly far, thus evening out the playing field. The fact that you don't play with gloves also cuts down on the amount of equipment you need to play. For an easy pickup game that evens things out a bit while maintaining a good amount of competition, this is the ticket. The ball itself is large, well constructed, these were the ones we used when I played in a city adult league a few years back.

As other reviewers have said, this ball is harder than I expected. Even after bouncing it off a concrete floor many times it hasn't softened up. I wanted a ball that wouldn't hurt someone if thrown at them, but I think this one would hurt quite a bit.

When I was a kid I had a ball just like this one which we called a mush ball. It's not mushy but it is softer and bigger than a regular softball making it easier to catch without mitts. I bought this one for my daughter who is learning to hit the ball so I thought also for that reason this would be a perfect fit. To be honest, we haven't yet started using this new ball, been too cold, but from what I remember in childhood, the more we used the ball the softer it became hence earning it's name "Mush Ball".

I picked out this ball after hearing a talk by Bob Goff, who reminded us that God doesn't want to be put on a shelf, or thought about on Sunday, He wants to play ball with us, and be part of our lives everyday. Glad I bought the ball it is a constant reminder every time I look at it, which is constantly.

Reading the measurements, and actually having it in your hands are two different things.Haven’t played around with it or thrown it around as of yet, but once I do I will place another review. I’ll give 5 stars due to the service Amazon (and Amazon Prime) has, which has not let me down since I’ve become a customer
