At a few different times in my life I experienced pain in my heel that that was so extreme it hampered my mobility. A doctor said it was probably a heelspur. I found these Barefoot Science insoles in a booth at the Washington State Fair. With nothing to lose I bought a pair, and within a week my heel pain was gone. The last time it flaired up, I was thankful that I could find a pair on Amazon.

I don't know how these actually work, but they work way better than any orthotics I've had. These actually train your feet and after a while you don't need them anymore. The custom orthotics just made my feet weak and stiff. These come with different levels so you can get your feet slowly stronger so you can walk without orthotics again eventually. Custom orthotics are only a crutch. These will actually help rehab your foot.

The product is missing the first set of inserts and it’s one of the few products that doesn’t allow returns

I have a 3/4 medium Barefoot Science insert that I bought probably 10-15 years ago. I've worn the heck out of it, so decided to get another. Store in which I bought it doesn't exist anymore, so Amazon to the rescue! Unfortunately this is different than the insert I have...thicker, wider, longer. Bottom line is that is that it isn't comfortable. It says I can cut it to fit in a shoe, but I think I don't want to mess with it and I certainly can't make it thinner by shaving it. I'll have to find a store somewhere that sells them.

Have used these for years- a physical therapist recommended this type. Better than my $300 ones from podiatrist!

Have been running with these insoles for years. Happy to have found them again. Comfort and security.

I really like these a lot. I am wearing them in every pair of shoes.

It's not for me; I have serious foot problems.
