BOJACK 6x30mm 4 A 4 amp 250 V 0.24x1.18 Inch Volt F4AL250V Fast-Blow Glass Fuses(Pack of 18 Pcs)

It was hard to find 6A 250V slow blow fuses for a power amp. I had every fuse in my private stash except 6amp. These BoJack fuses are packed loosely. When opened, I found one with a glass defect that did not seal with one end metal cap, three cracked glass fuses, and three with loose end caps. I guess for China, not a bad quality score of 11 functional out of 18 fuses. (61.1% for a score of D-). I initially tried to find Made in USA fuses but finally gave up! Now, I wonder how closely these fuses hold to the 6 amp value. I guess I could test one on the bench but even then who's to know how consistent the 6 amp value is across the whole pack. Not a comforting thought on a $1500 power amp. I'll now be searching again to get real engineered fuses, not cheap knockoffs. Buy Made in USA my friends! Chinese fuses are far too often a HOLLOW ECONOMY purchase, as I find out more and more. Especially when you're protecting a $1500 MADE IN USA power amp.

You won't believe this... I had blown a 15A fuse and so ordered these, in hopes that I could replace said burnt fuse and have extras should this happen again. Well, wouldn't you know it? It worked! I put this new fuse in and BOOM! I had power again! I just can't say enough good about this product! It works!

The label on the box says the fuses are what I ordered. The fuses kept blowing and I thought something was critically wrong with my machine. I took a closer look at my fuses and what I thought was a number one (1) was a letter "F". These fuses were only 5amp fuses instead of 15amp fuses. The box was correct but the fuses were wrong.

Fast shipment for an excellent value fuse. Not easy to find just 1.5 amp only.
