Haven’t worn them yet, but actual product is NOT as advertised. Not thick at all and the product description states “weave blend of wool 35%, cotton 24%, polyester 36% and spandex 5%.” However, the tag on the socks says “80% cotton, 15% acrylic, 5% spandex” - not even close. How are they allowed to advertise falsely?

Pleased the colors and patterns arrived as advertised. Definitely don't like the ridiculous amount of strings inside. How can all those loose ends hold up over time? Caught my toe nails a bit while putting them on. I washed & dried them, no problems yet. They're a good thickness; not cushioned & thick like Columbia winter socks, but not thin at all. Would've liked a slightly bigger option, as I wear 9.5-10 women's shoes. Pics attached

These socks are colorful and so fun! My 13 year old daughter immediately took two pairs of the 5 I had ordered upon opening the package.I usually wear thick wool socks in the wintertime around the house to keep my feet warm. I have purchased wool socks from Costco in the past (they are very thick and cozy), and was looking to replace a couple of pairs of those that are getting old. I ordered these socks in the hopes they would be like my Costco socks.These socks are shorter than I would like, the fabric is a bit thin, and they are not at all what I was expecting. That being said, they do the job of keeping my feet warm in shoes. I have not worn these around the house because they seem too thin, and I am afraid they will get holes in them easily. I usually wear socks with Birkenstocks, and these would do nicely on warmer days. However, I would not wear these with hiking boots or to do any outdoor activity.I give them three stars because they are very colorful and fun, and they are comfortable to wear with Danskos or other casual shoes. I deducted two stars because they are shorter, the fabric is a bit on the thin side, and I do not believe the quality reflects the price I paid ($20).If you are looking for socks to wear with shoes while shopping or running around town, these are a great option. Stay away if you are looking for plush house socks, or socks to wear with hiking boots or for any outdoor activity.

These are ADORABLE, and very comfortable. I have washed them with my delicates, and my big toe has broken through on the second wearing of two pair, and I am not hard on socks, and have never had this trouble so soon with ANY sock. So disappointed as the reviews were so good. If I wrote my review when I first opened them, I would have written the same. Glad I waited to post, and hopefully some people will see this and not have the same experience as I did.

Updating my review...Once opening and trying several pair I'm finding these are quite shorter than the 2 previous sets I've purchased in the past, and only one set out of 4 this time were doable. I contacted the seller letting them know, even telling them the actual measurements, willing to send pictures, so they would know there's no way these will fit women's size 5-9. I'm a 7 and they barely fit and that's without washing them first. They have wool in them they can NOT go in warm water or the dryer.They are unwilling to replace with accurately sized socks. They suggest I pass them on or "resell them"??? Seriously? I don't buy things to resell them.Just a heads up. Socks can run SUPER SMALL!!! Sized for KIDS! NOT WOMEN! Idon't recommend! Not anymore.

Very thin, starts to pill after first time wearing and holes have formed in 3 of the pairs after one time of wearing.

Fantastic winter socks! The socks are a little thicker than standard crew socks, but thin enough that I've been able to wear the comfortably inside my normal shoes (as opposed to some other socks I own that are simply too thick). They have good stretch and fit to my feet really nicely, without any uncomfortable bagging around the toes or heels, and fit nicely through my arches as well. I also like that they are comfortable to sleep in - not too tight, but they stay in place. I have a smaller foot size (I'm a size 5), and many one-size-fits-all socks are simply too long for my feet. These fit, but seem to have enough stretch that I think they'd fit several sizes larger as well. Maybe up to a size 8-8 1/2. If your feet are larger than that, then these might be a little too small for you.I bought these as 'holiday' socks that I hoped I would be able to wear all winter, and they fit the bill nicely. The red and grey are particularly festive for the holidays, but I still feel comfortable wearing them, now that the holidays are past because they're simply festive. They definitely help keep my feet warm, important with how chilly things have been.Washability: I machine wash them in the permanent press load, and dry them on medium. If they've shrunk at all, it's been very minimal. The only downside I've noticed is that with the washings, they have started to pill around the heel and toes. I've included a photo of the heels of one of the pairs so you can see this. This pair has been washed about 3 times. You can see that the design is fine, it's just the solid-colored heels (and toes) that are pilling.

It came fast. I want to love this sock because they are thick warm and comfy. but one pair stitches already came loose when I am trying on to take pictures. I guess you just have to be careful pulling any of it. I love the color of these socks. I wear 7w shoes and this socks fits fine. stays up unless you will have the same issue I had on one of the pair. I am giving this 4 stars because I have few things I like about them. just be very careful pulling any hanging string you'll encounter in or outUPDATE:after of two years of daily use i can say i got my money worth.just throw the last pair today. happy customer here.

I really like these socks and they are warm and cosy but I just wanted to let you know, in case it will bother you, that the wool on the white pattern of the socks, particularly on the top part band around the ankles is all coming loose on all of the socks once they have been worn a few times. The construction of them doesn't seem very good. For that reason I would give it 3 stars.

The linings of the socks are not finished off catch on your toes when when putting them on .

I'm a shoe size 7, and these woollen thermal women's socks are absolutely restrictive in the toe area, giving very little room for freedom of movement. I would suggest the size stated be reduced to between a shoe size 2-6 at most and not shoe size 2-8. The socks are very warm and I love the Nordic colourful pattern and design. Knitted very well too, however, I would have thought there was not any cotton, but rather, wool, polyester, acrylic and elastane. I ordered and received two packs of the same 5 pairs of socks yet one pack cost me £1 more than the other, simply based on a variation in the written description of the listing???

I'm fairly sure these aren't wool but they are bright and pretty and quite comfortable, thicker socks which are great to wear in boots or heavy shoes. A good fit on my size 5.5 feet with high insteps although one pair does seem to have shrunk over the instep.

The socks are nice and colorful. The drawback is that there a lot of loose threads both on the inside and outside. There are lots of loops to catch on your toes as you put them on.
