Make sure you check the size before you order. This is a small scissors. I bought it for that reason, but the size is not obvious from the pics.Very precision cutting blades. Works well 2 or 3 finger held. SUPER SHARP, will cut paper just by dragging one of the blades down a sheet.Very sharp point. Keep the little blade guard they give you, it has indents that "snap" over the pivots to hold it on.

These are my favorite small scissors. They are really made for the left hand. They have a sharp point and cut well. They are serrated, it would be great if a smooth blade was an option.Thanks, Tim Holtz, for thinking of us Lefties! It would be fantastic if all your scissors came in left handed models.

For fine-detail work, these left-hand scissors are the bomb. I have used them mostly for facial hair-trimming as well as removing those arm bands from blood draws. They are SHARP! The micro-serrations make them hold securely onto what your cutting, and help with increasing the effective sharpness of the blade. This is something I've always had on my Wenger SAKs, and wondered why nobody else used that design.The handles are right-sized and comfortable plastic. Thankfully, they did not use that "felt" rubber that only degrades over time into a sticky inter-galactic goo.

These are the perfect size for my lefthanded 9 year old daughter. She is learning to sew, and these have made things so much easier. They are light weight and sharp, and she is able to cut with precision.

Well made, sharp scissors. Comfortable to use. Great addition to my craft room.

A must for left handed detailed cutting.

As a lefty, I have a hard time finding small scissors for my felt crafting, so I was excited to discover these Tim Holtz 5" lefty scissors. I like the size (fairly large) and feel (rubber with a little bit of "give") of the finger holes. The blades themselves are about 1.5" from the pivot screw to the tips. The one inch of blades closest to the pivot screw cut crisply. The 1/2" or so closest to the tips does not cut well at all for me. This is especially frustrating because I am accustomed to doing a lot of work with scissors tips on other scissors I own (such as Karen Kay Buckley 4" scissors, but those don't come in a lefty version). Bottom line, I have mixed opinions about these Tim Holtz scissors.

I do a lot of snipping and precision cutting, these are the best scissors I have ever owned.
