As the title indicates, the tie is great overall. It's made of silk and very nice in that regard.It's not a full tie, but has a zippered strap that can be expanded barely enough for my 7 1/8" head, then cinched to a comfortable spot to wear. I wore this at an anime convention recently, dressing up my Black Mage cosplay for a semi-formal dance. People loved the tie!There are 3 modes for the light; on, slow blink and fast blink. I used the slow because we have to worry about flashing lights and the possibility someone would have a reaction as a result.The problem is the control box; when you turn on the LED, there is a high-pitched whine. If you set the light to blink, the whine comes and goes with the light. If the control box is placed in some sound dampening material, you can minimize this. OR, as I was, if you're in a loud dance or even just a loud space, this won't be noticeable except for those with super-sensitive hearing.Overall, this is a fun addition to my tie collection, but will definitely have limited uses.

This tie was a pretty big hit for neck tie day at school. However it is easily breakable if you’re not careful.

The tie was a great hit at a recent Sneaker ball. My husband received many compliments. He also looked very handsome in it.

Wore this to a masquerade murder mystery party where everyone loved it, then went out to a dance club afterwards and got tons of eyes and lots of compliments on the tie. It's lightweight, straightforward, fit comfortably, and worked great. It has 3 settings with solid on, and slow or fast strobe.Only advice would be to order a few days ahead of time to you can straighten out the memory that develops in packaging/shipping or maybe use a tie clip. Also, I'm 6'1" so this tie was a bit short for where I normally have my ties hang, but when you look this good no one really cares. Have not found a longer version.

This tie was a huge hit on my husband at the company Christmas party! It glowed very brightly and was easy to put on. The zipper for tightening was a bit strange, and came loose occasionally. My husband was slightly annoyed with the clunky battery pack, but I think that's unavoidable with this type of schtick. The tie did have an annoying high-pitched buzz, but it was undetectable in a party setting. Overall, a great purchase!

Was broken straight out of the package. Didn’t order a replacement, so not sure if it was a fluke.

The tie looks cool and is well done but like others are saying, there is an annoying high pitch noise that will ruin quiet moments. However, I was using at a party with the music blasting, I couldn't hear the noise and only got comments on how cool it looked. Shame that I won't be able to use it anywhere else...

It fits kids and even adults, it works, easy to use and tighten

Note the battery unit is fairly clunky, it has a clip but will become annoying under your shirt.The tie itself seems to be well made but a bit short, more appropriate for kids/teens then an adult.Re: supplier - very poor packaging, tie was scrunched up, and as it is not fabric but "plastic" needs to be flattened out with weight.
