We have two small kids and we tried several covers. Some made a lot of noise, some did not fit well, some would start leaking after washed a few times. We wash and dry on delicate, sometimes just air dry these on the porch railing. They will eventually leak after many washes, but they are very durable, best we’ve tried.The sides make them fit snug in varying mattress thickness and the tops are soft and quiet. Fantastic buy.

I have had one of these on my Queen size mattress for about 4 years, and another not on my Full size mattress. They don't feel cheap, thin, or plasticky, all reasons I have returned every other cover I have tried. These are extremely well made and high quality, and they are very tight fitting to the mattress. The tight fit around the edges turns any slightly too jelly mattress into a supportive, slightly stiffer mattress with more edge support than without the cover. Like soft cottony feeling pantyhose for your mattress! I really think having it on my queen mattress has extended the comfortable life of the mattress by propping it up on all sides. So I just bought another for the Full size in the guest room. This is not a compensated endorsement, I just love these washable waterproof covers, and I also love my washable Casper pillows. Those unzip to throw the inner pillow into the wash, or just to use the outer pillow if you prefer a thinner pillow. The pillows really perk up with a few minutes in the dryer (each of the two components separately put in the machine). Mine are still perfectly new feeling after 5 years.

This mattress cover works well with the Casper Snow. I don't seem to sleep any hotter, but it may be because the mattress is cooling.

I bought my second Casper Mattress and needed a mattress protector to protect it. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper version from a mattress store. It didn’t fit well and was difficult to take on and off to wash and clean it. I didn’t want to make the same mistake so I invested in a Casper brand mattress protector specifically designed to fit well and protect my new mattress.Honestly I can’t rate the “water resistance” because (knock on wood) I haven’t spilled any liquid on the mattress and I hope I didn’t just jinx myself LOL.If you are buying a Casper Mattress then do yourself a favor and invest in a mattress protective cover that is specifically designed to fit and feel good underneath your sheets; buy a Casper Mattress Cover.
