The "Farm Project" had an episode of bolt remover products. The Amartisan Impact Bolt Extractor Tool, was right up there with the ABN. which surprisingly ran circles around the better known brands. SO I ended up buying both, because the ABN they featured was not to be found, but a lug nut removal set had the 19mm I desperately neededI'm doing rear struts and the nuts and bolts holding the struts in place were RFT,(really fnh tight)Long story edited for brevity. I wasn't paying attention, and as the Amartisan are 3/8 drive, and the 30 inch 1/2 i used on the drivers side was made in the maybe the 50's, and the extension wasn't going to take shit from anybody. I actually had my body weight bouncing on the end of 3' of black pipe over the handle of the ratchet. It finally relented.The Amartisan showed up after i had the d/s hardware off, so next morning, I put my best fire proof extension on my longest best Snap-On ratchet and gave it a go with the p/s . I couldn't get the nut to break free from the bolt, but the socket held on like it was frkng welded on, and shows ne apparent wear.The Amartisan is worth the trip. I considered putting a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter on it but thought better of it, cause I was unsure of the pedigree of my adapters and I have kissed concrete enough to know it's not fun

This has to be one the greatest invented tools of all time! Took off a completely stripped lug off of my car. Didn't even have to hammer it on too hard and boom with a little twist the lug came lose. The dealer wanted to charge me $300 to drill the lug off but luckily there wasn't enough time so I went home and then found this jewel on Amazon. God bless whomever invention this tool it was a life saver. I was skeptical about if it would work but boy was I surprised. This is a must have in anyone's tool kit!

I'm writing almost immediately after successfully using this tool to remove a 12mm nut in a very cramped space in my '02 Civic. It is the first nut or bolt I have to remove in order to replace my alternator and the alternator and power steering belts, but the space is super cramped and my car has 20+ years of rust on it and not surprisingly it started to strip when I used the traditional tools: a 12mm wrench and a 12mm socket wrench. The socket wrench would just continue to turn and I knew it was only further stripping the nut and I almost gave up (and was possibly going to send my car to the junkyard) when I decided to give this product a try based on the good reviews. I tried a similar looking product last year from a different company to try to remove a stripped screw in my kitchen but that didn't work at all so I had low hopes.Lo and behold, the partially stripped and rusted nut that had never been removed in my 23 years of owning this car started to turn right away and in seconds was off without any damage to the bolt it was screwed on. The nut itself is stuck to the 12mm removal socket and may be difficult to remove but I was so impressed by this that I wanted to leave a review right away.Now, YMMV (your mileage may vary) depending on the situation and condition of your bolt or nut that needs removing, but there's at least a decent chance it will work for you as it did for me. Recommend everyone put this in his toolbox. Only thing I should mention is that if your space is really cramped, it may not work for you if you physically can't fit it on the nut/bolt, and you may need a low profile attachment to attach to this removal socket. I used the arm/wrench of a serpentine belt removal tool and just barely fit.

I had a bolt that was completely rounded and could not remove the blade from my mower to sharpen. I had rounded the bolt after a hour of trying different methods including increasing the leverage. These nuts are solid and dug right into rounded bolt. It provided the grip withstanding a lot of pressure from the stuck bolt but it got it off within a minute. Absolutely amazing.The only negative is the light plastic case. It arrived with the dented corner from shipping.
