Much easier clean up
I have been using a resin 3D printer for around a year. Prior to that I used a filament printer for some time. I bought a resin printer because I liked the quality in smaller prints. I was not however excited about working with a liquid. My brother who has many resin printers suggested water washable to me. I have a clean and cute station but I didn’t like the thought of having a big tub of alcohol on the side and waste loads of it for the infrequency I print. I got a couple of bottles of this and it’s really easy to use. I take the whole plate off my printer after it’s had a short while to drip and put it right into the wash station with warm water in it. When it’s done I trim it and find it really easy to do once it’s been in warm water and then onto the cure station. Worth noting for those of you new to this - do NOT throw the water you wash it in or run any of the resin down the sink. That’s a good way to screw up your pipes. I have a spot outside where I dump the water away from where any animals would have a sniff around and where there’s no plants. I also don’t clean up my tank anywhere near as often as I should but I’ve found it’s no issue to stir around the resin with my finger, pour more in, stir again and go printing. Just again make sure there’s no UV light or direct sunlight anywhere near the machine.

Poor experience with the resin, but fantastic customer support.
Purchased a new Elegoo Saturn 4 printer as an upgrade form my Mars 2 Pro. I had a little Anycubic water washable Resin left over so used it up in my first batch pf prints and using the default settings everything came out perfect. As I was running low on Resin I thought I wold be better off using the same brand of resin as the printer so purchased a bottle of Elegoo water washable resin. It's now Tuesday and I've already used up the 1kg bottle. Not because I've done 100's of perfect prints, far from it. Nearly every print failed. Either it detached at the supports, or simply produced a miss shaped print. I tried changing the settings to those suggested on YouTube, and by using the downloadable profile - all the same. With the last bit of resin left I ordered a bottle of Anycubic Water washable 2.0 resin which arrived today. I used the last bit of the Elegoo resin to print off some N scale model containers and every one failed again. I cleaned the build plate and resin vat and then filled the vat with the Anycubic resin. I did nothing else, just set the machine to print off the same file that had just failed. 90 minutes later it finished and I had 10 perfect parts, all still attached to the build plate via the supports. So why did I give this review 5 stars, because of the fantastic after service care. Elegoo reached out to me after Amazon published the above review. I sent a few images of the poor results, along with the batch number. Over the course of a few days and an exchange of messages a refund was offered and accepted. The funds were back in my account within a couple of days. So whilst my experience with the resin was not great, the service and supports post purchase was second to none.

Good quality.
First time using a 3D printer, this works really well when you follow the instructions on the bottle. Still does smell and you have to wear PPE as per usual when handling any resin, the bonus is that it is water washable (I use water with washing up liquid in it). Amazing detail and I have to say I will be still sticking to this type for the foreseeable future. Is not a solid colour but a very distinct transparent blue, but if painting over the models, will not be an issue.

Fast, great detail, no smell
My first time using an SLA pinter ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08FR39QJ7/ ) I read all the horror-stories of what can go wrong, but I was printing 10 minutes after unpacking and the first print was great. Look at the detail in that photo! (Glasses for scale). No re-work whatsoever on that model, just water wash and post-cure. This is the only resin I tried so far, but it's obviously easy for beginners. The exposure I used for that printer was 5 base layers at 30 sec each then 3 sec per layer (0.05mm layers) The resin is brittle, which I expected, but pretty strong and it does have a little flex - not like glass. Files and drills easily. Consider that I brushed those very fine railings you see on the photo with a toothbrush before realising that the delicate detail was there! The resin washes off quickly under a running tap and a light scrub with a toothbrush - then cure under a UV lamp. I intend to try more flexible resins, but this one works perfectly OK, and I cannot smell it at all.

The water washable has improved my life greatly, no longer toxic cleaning liquid fumes. I have had great consistency when printing with this resin, only 1 failed print that was due to build plate not clean enough so that fault is on me. The colour really stays sharp even after wash where other brands got matted, it has that deep emerald green transparency. The picture shows my every day carry that has been used daily and shows no signs of decay, cracks or degradation of the plastic. I am extremely satisfied.

>pros - Water washable resin is thinner messes up a lot less and gives me the feeling of much more at ease due to easier cleaning up when drip something. - Resin is dripping off easier and there for comes out with less resin on it. - The whole thing with having sticky resin on your gloves is no more. Gloves are easier to watch and touch things without contaminating them horribly. - Tacky models seem to be a thing of the past. This resin is almost non-stick when it is washed and completely dry feeling after cured! - It seems to hold it's promise of the other resins by being able to retain details in the model - Thinner resin probably means faster curing times. I've used 8 seconds for now but plan to reduce a bit more. - Ultrasonic cleaning works even better now - and a lot of money saved not having to buy IPA so much anymore - Faster printing times - Fumes seem to disappear faster when airing. > cons - Alcohol vaporizes easier/faster when thin enough. Cleaning the foot with water needs more drying attention for which I use an aquarium heater-pad. - Harder to blow models dry (I'm using an old airbrush) - Resin price more expensive than regular resin €34 vs €40,-- all-in Amazon.de) - Could be more affected by moist - People have to restrain themselves more now and treat any garbage, left-over supports etc the same way as IPA cured resin and cure all before throwing away water or plastics! (I feel it is tempting to just run it down the sink) - Fumes stink more, feel sharper - no other colors yet than ceramic grey.
