A very well written crime thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a huge set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great crime thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. A very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; TYBC Enterprises Inc.; 1 edition; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Love this series
This is a series that I am buying, usually I read the free book and then go to a different book and author. This series has something that really got me hooked. One no sexual exploit, describing crime sciences does have the sexual explanation but that is part of the story and not the characters in a constant bedroom or wherever they want each other and details. Language is mild for a book that has law enforcement agencies local and Federal. Only thing that really got to me was the spelling, a spellcheck would not catch as it was his instead of her or to instead of go, that type of errors.Bought the next book and will start it today.

I felt like I was really there
If you enjoyed the first novel in this series, The Chinese Woman: The Barbados Conspiracy , then this book is also worth your time.As with each book in this series, the detailed storytelling is excellent. The author draws on his own international police background to create characters, stories and intricate details that feel true-to-life. I'm certain that many of the events and people in this series could happen and exist in real life. Again, I read this book all in one sitting - the story drew me right in.What I liked most about this book is that it kept me guessing. Although the second book featured more action and brute force, this book brought back what I loved about the first book in the series. The perpetrators are highly intelligent, and as the heroine uncovers the mystery, we piece it all together along with her.I'm looking forward to the final book in this series.

Where do we go from here.
Mystery Assassin will have you up and down twisting left and right questioning your own sense of values . Who is this Chinese woman who loves a man who is everything her government stands against. Layer upon layer of who is for who in this spy agency vs FBI vs Triads. This story went too quickly for me, I am a cold war veteran who still likes his back to the wall and watch the door . Do your self a favor and start with the first book.

Excellent
I enjoyed this fast paced, short mystery novel of intrigue. I would highly recommend this escapist story for those who want a few hours of relief from the "humdrums" of existence. There is the usual sex, Chinese communist overtones, and wicked criminals but it is all especially well done, fast paced and interesting. The authors second and third installments are also worthy of reading; the price is certainly right. My compliments to a fellow author who brightened a day or two for me. Reynold Spector
