There are a lot of different phone holders. The rubber grip bristles firmly grab the phone and keep it from vibrating. Adjustable for different vehicles and positions. The sticky pad can be rinsed and reused if you change cars or re-position. Clean and set it where you want and it sticks well. Bought 3 for multiple vehicles and it works great on all of them.

I have to say that I ordered the larger holder as the issue with the smaller one here is it has a spring clamp that is hard to remove the phone with one hand, plus the way it holds my phone, an iPhone 8, when you push the home button it rocks the phone away from you in the holder. Buy their push button release model it works a lot better. As far as the mounting base suction cup, I have it mounted on a portion of the dash and it stuck real well. The business end of the suction cup is a soft rubber allowing it to holed real well to rough surfaces.

I thought this wouldn't work and I bought other ones, but I had always problems cause nothing wanted to stay where it's supposed to be. Finally I was listening to my husband and now I absolutely love it!We have both the same one in our cars.Works only if you clean the area and dry it well before you're put in on the glass.

the adhesion is low quality because it is hard to hold tie on the dashboard
