Shotgun Tool 5 pack

I live in Texas and once a year I plan a Labor day camping trip where most of the time is spent floating (tubing) the river, while consuming large amounts of alcoholic beverages. I bought these because they were on the lower price end but they were a great addition to the trip. We typically go the old school rout and chug beers, but not this year!! We wear fishing hats when we float the river and these easily can be attached to the little stringy thing to prevent the hat from flying away, let's call it the Stringer for the sake of this review. We honestly go thru about 5 cases of beer between 10 of us during these floats and these little shotgun pokers made it so much easier to pound these drinks down. Let's face it. It's hot and the only thing to keep you cool is a nice cold beer shotgun, BUT that only lasts about 10-15 min MAX. So you gotta do it again but this eliminates having to usin a key, or the barbaric way of biting the can. In all honesty, its a great tool to add to a pool party, lake hangout, heck even a backyard barbecue. The ladies attached them to their waterproof phone lanyards, and the guys attached them to their hats. I even gifted some of these for a bachelor party pack and we put these to use like heck.

I thought these were of some alloy, but found out made of plastic. Still works, but not quite as strong as my last alloy SG tool.

Initially I was hesitant to buy because I thought they'd be too large, clunky, and cheap quality. I purchased the 5 pack and I'm glad I did. The plastic is very sturdy, It performs it's intended use very well, and the size isn't as large as I at first believed (pictures for comparison), they fit nicely with my keys. I am a satisfied consumer.

Love it super easy to use and convenient

Look, as of today 10/26/23 you get 5 of these for ten bucks. That's not bad. It works but there's one downside. Unlike other more expensive shotgunning tools, there's no real way to escape the explosion of beer when it opens the can. So be prepared to smell like beer. Yes, even if you turn it away from you. It sprays. The best way I've found to do it to avoid a Montucky money shot is to first ever so slightly crack the top to release the carbonation then use this tool on the side. That being said, this works well. It makes a nice big opening to drink from and it's way safer than the swiss army knife I used to use. I also got to give away the other four as a random gifts to my friends. This is plastic so it'll break one day but like I said, five of them for ten bucks, not bad.
