Excellent quality knife and edge
The media could not be loaded. Ultra sharp.. 8-12 degree edge makes a real good difference.. my first knife with such an angle and this makes a big difference.. beautiful knife.. comes with excellent presentation box with sleeve.. comes with a cloth looking thing which I haven’t opened I presume to dry it to prevent water spots and a badgeHas its own sheath which could have been more snug and potentially soft on the inside.. if it had a light velvet or felt lining it would make this much better.. see the video.. it rattles about inside it and it a rigid plastic.. excellent at protecting the user but not so friendly on the knifes edge..Can use this knife to make ultra thin slices of tomato as it comes really sharp out of the box..I haven’t tried it for the purpose i bought it yet as i tend to eat beef and steaks etc once a month or so.. so will be testing it out when i break down a ribeye into steaks.. or a steak into slices for my friends and family..Really happy with the looks and feel.. would make an excellent gift for steak lovers like myselfThe sheath was a bit of a let down but this wouldn’t stop me from buying the knife had I already known.. so go forth and purchase.. they also haelve the 10” available but i need the 12.5” as I usually by big sub primals sometimes with the bone in.. highly recommended and will probably be buying more dalstrong knives in the future.. i just hope they improve the sheaths

Great quality blade, let down by handle
I have had this for a month now, the edge on the blade is very sharp and the size is perfect for cutting large slices of meat.However the handle, while beautifully made, is far to small and slippery to be used

Slippery handle
Great knife for home cooking, unfortunately not for a Butcher's shop as the handle is quite slippery wich makes it not safe to work with it. The blades quality are really good though. It's a real shame 😔
