The media could not be loaded.  We are very happy with this 42" 3G Electric Fireplace purchase and love its appearance both when on and off. It is very realistic and we like that it is only 4.5" deep since we did a wall mount. It was fairly easy to mount (I used a laser level and a stud finder which helped a lot). I am including photos of each of the 3 colors of flame and the orange one is very realistic looking. The other 2 are nice and fun too. I like the look of the clear "crystal" rocks when it is off too as it is a classy look next to the black frame. We have kept it on every day since we installed it...it really makes us feel like we have a fireplace in our living room.As for the heater and fan, I do think it is loud but no louder than our forced air furnace so if you are using it for heat (which we are not), it does work, it has a thermostat and a timer, but is on the loud side, in our opinion.I give the fireplace an A+ and highly recommend it for appearance and value.

The media could not be loaded.  I had this small TV wall in the home I am remodeling. Since it's in the basement, I wanted to incorporate the ambiance of a fireplace with a supplemental heat source. I built a simple plywood box and it only had to be 6 inches deep to accommodate this nice low fireplace. Thus the large TV above the "mantel" looks great and it worked out well. Instead of having to strain your neck to look up to see the TV, this low profile puts the TV right at eye level. The mantel also serves as a heat blocking source so the fireplace does not overheat the TV. Really happy with the way this fireplace works and looks. We get lots of compliments.

This is a great fireplace! You can with a push of the button change flame color, change the crystal colors, change the height of the flames. We really love it. The only thing is, we googled the model number to just double check on the electric connection, and found it on the retailers page for $200 cheaper! So that was a bummer :( But I would highly recommend it to anyone. Super easy to install.

The fireplace itself is a really nice product that puts out a good amount of heat to warm our TV room in our newly finished basement. The quality of the product is very good and it provides a nice ambiance.What I would like to rave about is the customer service of 3GPlus. During the finishing of our basement, the remote control was misplaced along with the operating instructions. I sent an email to the company and promptly got a response with an offer to immediately ship a replacement remote control free of charge. We received the replacement remote control within a week of sending the first email. The customer service representative also emailed the e-manual, which clarified a few questions that we had. The customer service and responsiveness of 3GPlus is simply outstanding.

Fireplace is elegant, sleek and beautiful in design as well as very functional in adding warmth and ambiance to my husband’s “man cave”. In addition to the 42 inch model, we also bought the 50” 3 G fireplace for the master bedroom and absolutely love it.These fireplaces are an excellent value!Jasper, in customer support, was extremely courteous, professional and responsive in helping us through the process.....much appreciated 😊.

I really like that this unit is more shallow (4.58" deep) than many of the other fireplaces. In fact, we had ordered a different fireplace, but once it arrived at the house, our installer thought it was too deep and would look funny protruding so much from the wall (standard 2x4 interior wall). So we returned that one and ordered this one instead. We were pleasantly pleased that this only protruded slightly wall (1/2" or so). We ended up building a thin wood frame around the fireplace just to make it look a little more finished (but this wasn't really necessary). Happy with the overall results in any case!

This fireplace is more than expected for the price! It’s so pretty and my husband has had no problems installing it. It puts out heat and makes our downstairs comfortable to sit and stay warm! Our house came without a fireplace which was a must have for me. This is so much easier (and cleaner) than using a real log fireplace.

It looks nice, but won't turn on anymore. I came home & it won't work. What causes this problem & is it an easy fix?
