Worked perfectly with my 2007 Moomba Outback V Drive 325hp Indmar Assault
Struggled for about 30 minutes making no headway with needle nose pliers. I was nervous about trying to use screwdrivers or 2 paint can openers as I had read on various forums. I definitely didn't want to damage the sides of the pump as I pried on it. Gave up, ordered this and despite having almost no room with the muffler right behind the pump on my direct drive I was able to get the impeller out in 5 minutes. No modifications to the tool were needed at all with my boat as I have read in some other reviews. Kind of an expensive tool for what it is but well worth it. Paid for by 2x with one change in my driveway vs the shop. For info my boat uses a Johnson 812-B impeller.

Read other reviews that implied that it might work, but was unsure. We have a sailboat with small engine access hatches on port/starboard side (about 6 inches by 12 inches) as well as the main access forward. Those who have the 4JH3E (and similar versions) know about the raw water pump configured with the impeller facing aft, so I had to use the port window. I had to cut about 1 inch off the puller to get it to fit within the existing systems. Used anti-seize on all threads, had it out in about 5 minutes. Happy given that it is half the price of the major competitor.

It works.
I will start with you NEED to apply antiseize to the threads. They should include a small tube, but I do have plenty on hand. For my application I learned that there are several versions of this tool.... my fault for not realizing this and in the end it actually worked out due to space constraints. I had to cut down the front straight shaft part so that I could reach in to grab the impeller....after the mod and the threads lubed up with antiseize.... I went from messing with the impeller for over an hour attempting to use pliers to getting it out in less than 2-min. My application is an engine mounted unit on a Volvo D4-260.The impeller was original at about 7-years old and was always used in salt water--- bought the boat recently, so it was one of the need to check it based on everything else that was not checked or maintained as it should have been. I originally thought it was stuck on the shaft, but it is simply very tight in the housing and in tight quarters. The right tool for the job makes all the difference.I now keep a spare impeller on the boat as well as this tool and everything else I need to change it if necessary.

Product is good but did not work for my application
Will not work on a 2006 Indmar MCX engine. Product is good quality though.

fail. USE ANTI-SEIZE
difficult to rate as this one was a complete fail for us... moved our impeller about 1/4" before the threads fused with the housing... i'll do my best to remember to read the instructions on products. (though, i feel in this case the "instructions" should have been highlighted in some way to really stand out) i hope manufacturers learn to use dissimilar metals on moving threaded parts to avoid galling.definitely gets 5 stars on "thickness" tho.

Worth every penny
Must have item to change impeller on 6.2 Raptor. Struggled for an hour doing paint can opener method , gave up and ordered the puller. 60 seconds and impeller was out. Indmar mounts the impeller aft and Malibu leaves less than 12” to work in making this tool essential.

Made job easy
Worth the price to easily pull the impeller on my ski boat. It was bad enough being cramped in the storage compartment, the impellers wouldn’t budge until I got this tool.

The right tool for the job!
It’s expensive for what it is, but it is definitely the right tool for the job and makes pulling out an impeller very easy. I tried other ways of removing my impeller and none of them worked. As soon as this tool arrived I had the impeller out within a minute and it was very easy to use. I keep it in my boat toolkit in case I ever need to change out the impeller on the water.(Used on a 2016 Axis T23 with PCM 350)

作りは良さそうです
ディーゼルエンジンのインペラー取り外しに。エンジンの取り外したインペラーに現物合わせしたところ、ぴったり合いました。強度もありそうです。

Probably works great. Expensive for what it is.
Fits my impeller (1999 Indmar Monsoon engine with a Johnson raw water pump on a Malibu VLX). Of course, since the boat is covered in snow at the moment (and for the next 5 months) I’m not about to try pulling it out from the pump.Expensive for what it is... even though I bought an opened package unit for $50cdn instead of $80.
