Karman Healthcare R-4700W-BL Extra Wide Steel Rollator, Blue, 8" Heavy Duty Casters

This heavy duty roller-walker solved problems for me! I cannot stand for more than a few minutes, and this "rolling seat" extends my mobility radius to "unlimited." It has made it possible for me to go to concerts and other venues where wheelchair seating is available. It's heavy duty, it's easy to put together (no tools required) right from the box, and it goes through normal size doorways. I don't know why blue is less expensive than red, but I don't care about the color anyway. I heartily recommend this roller!

Excellent heavy duty construction, easy to assemble out of the box. The only things to do are attach the brake handles to a convenient height and put the basket in place. Note that the very fact that this is a wider than normal rollator makes it easy for a larger person to sit upon it, but makes it nearly impossible to walk from room to room in the average house as most doorways are too narrow to permit it to pass through, except to turn it sideways, which defeats the purpose to some degree. Just be aware of this before you buy.

This is very sturdy and was almost easy to assemble, except for the parts that didn't fit. The storage basket under the seat won't fit correctly and I tried putting it in from every angle possible. I wanted a basket to store my purse so I didn't have to keep worrying about putting my purse on my shoulder every 5 steps. The seat is large and okay, but the back rest bar I anticipate will be pure torture if used. When sitting the bar hits about at my waist and when I sit back it digs into my lower back almost to the point of pain. I'm thinking that bar will be taken off and not used at all. The left brake won't let the tire spin freely when the brakes are off but a friend thinks that may be able to be fixed with an adjustment or two. I thought about returning it but that seems like more trouble than it's worth to disassemble it and wrestle to get it back in the box. If my friend can fix the brake so the tire will roll, I think it will be useable, but am overall pretty disappointed. I'm hoping my friend can modify it so it's more user friendly. Had I wanted to design and build my own walker I wouldn't have bought one.

Can not imagine my life without it! the extra wide seat it perfect and holds up my 300 pound frame perfectly!
