Cuetec Billiard/Pool Cue Accessory: Bowtie 3-in-1 Billiard Cue Tip Tool

So I shoot pool, otherwise, why in the world would I buy this. That's not a question. I know it sounds like one, it's rhetorical. So when I got it, I went to shoot pool with my new Cuetec cues, it was time to get some new ones anyhow. The day I got it: I shot the best game of pool in my life. In-fact, I ran 7 tables in a row not missing a shot. I bought a new car and got a killer deal on it out of nowhere. I had the best burger I've ever had in my life. I drank 9 glasses of fine beer and didn't even get drunk. I met a beautiful & sweet girl. And had I played the lotto, I'm certain that I'd have won. Now, I never said this product had ANYTHING to do with it, I just stated that the day I got it my life changed. You be the determinant of whether or not it had anything to do with this Cuetec cue shaper. But I'll tell you this one thing for certain. The Cuetec cue shaper just WORKS and it works WELL. Better than any other ones I've previously had, and easier too, AND it has more capabilities all wrapped up into a nice, neat, retro looking design. And it's SOLID, most definitely NOT a cheaply-made product at all. BUY THIS, perhaps your life will change, too. :-)

nice little tool, well made. the scuffer and tapper are great. On top of that, it's an interesting piece that looks nice on a shelf. Cue tip tappers are a cool tool... This one is cooler that others, and it works great, and the price ain't bad. Would do it again if I didn't already have one (which i just got!). Warning! Its called a tapper but its risky to tap a stick-- lest you might miss and scuff your ferrule... I never miss. Your mileage may vary.

Perfect for the pool player

Ever have the head of your well-used-taken off-the-wall-rack pool cue ricochette off the que ball at your favorite pay-to-play table as you tried for a good break? And with the whole saloon (ok,barroom) watching?? Unless the owner is a pool afficienado him/her self, cues, and in particular the tips, receive zero maintenance. The owner just wants the revenue.... Enter the Cuetec Bowtie Tool... Nice, solid, shiney, and weighty, aluminum, a couple of turns of the 'Shaper' end will perform a reverse valve job on the tip. Add a few turns of the 'Scruff' end and chalk sticks like a guy to his new love at closing time. And each end is engraved labeled so you know which is which even seen through those beer goggles... An occasional player and not owning a custom cue myself, I really have carried a small piece of course-grit sandpaper on those occasions when I know I will be playing.... No more. My game has improved; fewer snickers from the Peanut Gallery. So, bottom line I would recommend the Cuetec; works as advertised, operates with precision, and, well, just looks too kewl :) It really rates five (5) full stars were it somehow smaller; belongs in a pool case and not the pocket of your leathers or jeans - yet it would lose its' functionality. Also, don't loan it out --- you might not get it back!!

As a novice player I found it really hard to shape a new cue tip when I had replaced it and by the time I’d achieved the shape I wanted the tip was almost gone lol! But with this tool I got the shaping done in no time and with no stress and also gave me more use out of my cue tips.
